Dr. Ridder did a great job. Very competent and professional. Answered all my questions.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Things were explained clearly and they make you feel like you matter not just getting rushed though your appointment.

Dr. Stephen Ridder is fantastic! I was initially seen last month for eye flashes (which requires urgent attention.) I called the office and was promptly scheduled for an appointment just 2 hours later. I couldn't find any other clinics open on Saturday, so it was a huge relief to be seen so quickly. I had a follow up today and am very pleased with my experience here. Dr. Ridder is very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. I really appreciate him taking the time to explain everything, and address any questions I have. I'm very grateful for the care and courteousness extended to me. I highly recommend him and this clinic for your optometry needs!

Dr Ridder was efficient and so helpful. He got my husband in on the same day and answered all our questions and concerns. The staff was friendly and our whole experience was a positive one.

Dr. Stephen, Dr. Jessica and their staff are wonderful. Everyone is so professional and kind. They took such great care of my husband and I. Dr. Stephen took the time to explain the exams to us in detail and gave us plenty of time to ask questions. I love how present he is with his patients. I was shopping in Costco and went into the optometry office to inquire about an exam. The office assistant was very friendly and helpful. She scheduled me for the next day. She welcomed me the next day, got me prepared with some tests before seeing Dr. Stephen Ridder. The exam went smoothly, Dr. Ridder explained everything that was being done and answered all my questions. It was a seamless process and great experience for someone who hasn't had an eye exam for quite a few years!

We just picked Ridder Optometry because it was inside Costco in Saratoga Springs (close to our home) without knowing anything else about them, and they were great! Dr. Jessica Ridder put everyone in our big family at ease and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Their technology is new so we didn't need to waste time getting our eyes dilated, and the six of us were in and out in an hour. They were also good at figuring out our insurance and helping us through that process. Highly recommend them!

I have been putting off getting an updated eyeglass and contact prescription for way too long. After a new Costco opened up a few minutes for my house I finally got on the schedule to get an eye exam. I don't have vision coverage and the rates at Costco optical are incredibly reasonable. Plus, because they are a new practice they had availability to get me in the same day I called to schedule an appointment. However, with as great of an experience as I had there, I don't anticipate their schedule being wide open for long. The experience was great from start to finish, but I was particularly impressed with the personal attention I was given by Dr. Jessica Ridder (she and her husband run the practice jointly). I did not feel rushed at all while getting my prescription dialed in and she had excellent patient care, leading to the end result of my new glasses and contact prescription being much sharper than my previous one. I feel like I did back when I got glasses for the first time, with the world around me in clearer focus than it has been for years. As a photographer who spends a lot of time looking for compelling views of the world to capture, this has been wonderful gift. The fact they they have a modern retinal scanner that does not require dilation was also a great perk, Kylie who was working as the assistant that day was very professional and kind as she administered the initial portion of the eye exam. Great staff, great price, and top of the line equipment make this an easy choice for the place to get my prescriptions going forward. In the words of a man renowned for his laser like vision, "I'll be back."
