The process was very easy. Almost feels too easy! Consultation. Then I booked my surgery for the following week. No pre-op stuff needed. I did get a prescription from my primary for (1) Valium pill to help with any potential surgery anxiety. I recommend if that is an option for you. The procedure is super relaxed. I was wearing my clothes I came in. Put on a hairnet they put in the eye drops and I met the doctor he checked out my eyes. Then he told me about the "discomfort" I'd feel for the first 5-6 hours then it would dissipate over the next 4 hours and by hour 10 I should feel normal again. The procedure itself is so fast you don't even have time to freak out. It's like 15 seconds per eye and the dr talks you through the whole thing. I felt fine when it was done and could already see better. The dr checked my eyes again said everything looked good and sent me off. My friend took me home. While in the car what I assume was the numbing drops wore off and the pain set in. My eyes were crying and it felt like eyelashes were in my eyes I couldn't open my eyes. I'm thankful I had my friend with me because I was useless. She had to get me into my apartment, give me Tylenol water and tissues and put me into my bed. Also she took the password protection off my phone, activated Siri and saved the emergency line number into my phone. I did call the emergency line to confirm how I was feeling was normal. They said it was going to feel like that for 5-6 hours. I'm not going to lie it was torture those hours I tried to sleep but could only sleep 15 mins at a time. It was so uncomfortable and painful. But once that time was up the pain was over and I could sleep. I slept the rest of the night I took a few melatonin that helped. And by the time I woke up I felt normal! I would never want to go through this again but I am glad it's over and I did it. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend using the LasikPlus Alexandria location.

I had an excellent experience with this LasikPus. The entire process was incredibly smooth from start to finish. The staff was very knowledgeable and took the time to clearly answer all of my questions, which made me feel comfortable and well informed throughout the whole experience. On the day of the procedure, everything was organized and efficient, and the surgery itself was surprisingly quick and seamless. The team made sure I felt safe and cared for every step of the way. I truly appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail. I'm very grateful for such a positive experience and would highly recommend them to anyone considering LASIK.

Best decision I've made in a long time I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience at LASIK Plus. I walked in a little nervous (okay... a lot nervous), and walked out the same day seeing the world in a way I haven't in over 20 years. That alone still feels unreal. Dr. Wills was incredible, calm, confident, and exactly the kind of surgeon you want when you're trusting someone with your eyes. Dr. Dharia was just as great, taking the time to explain everything and making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. But I also have to give a huge shoutout to the techs, Dailys and N'dea. They were amazing. Friendly, encouraging, and genuinely caring. They made what could've been a stressful day feel smooth and even enjoyable. Here's the part that still blows my mind: two days after surgery, I'm already seeing 20/15 vision, and it's expected to get even better as I continue healing. After living in glasses for most of my life, that's hard to wrap my head around. If you've been on the fence or putting this off like I did...don't. This team is the real deal, and I'm beyond grateful for the experience and the outcome. Worth it. Every bit of it.

I scheduled my initial consultation on a Monday and had my surgery on Wednesday. The surgery took less than 10 minutes. The staff at LASIK Plus in Alexandria were wonderful. The LASIK Alexandria staff was incredibly hospitable, competent, and articulate. Dr. Wills, the surgeon, was patient, personable, and gentle. I didn't feel anything during the procedure, which was quick and painless. I felt comfortable and confident about my decision. The healing process was also quick and tolerable. My experience was amazing! The consultation went very well! They took their time in answering all my questions . I didn't feel pressured to get anything. Day of procedure, I was scared but they made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The surgeon was super nice and helpful, he explained everything he was going to do before, and during. The procedure was not long at all and I felt great. Post op instructions were clear and precise. I loved my experience here. The team is amazing and super knowledgeable.
