Came to see Dr. Schauer a few years ago when dealing with a serious retinal issue. Got me in extremely quickly, diagnosed the problem and told me what could be done and what to expect. I went from sheer panic to calmly assured in less than an hour. Fantastic care and true professionalism!

Dr. Rita Page at Blue Ridge Ophthalmology is by far the best Ophthalmologist I have ever had. She provides the highest quality care and personalized attention. When cataract surgery was prescribed to correct vision in both eyes, I was hesitant. Dr. Page thoroughly explained the procedure and lens options. Her staff was extremely helpful in setting up the surgery dates, follow-up appointments, and even provided a referral for transportation to and from the surgery site. The surgery was easier than expected and the result an absolute miracle. Driving at night is now a pleasure as well as no longer needing to wear glasses! You are in good hands at Blue Ridge Ophthalmology-they are the best!

Dr. Page is one of the best I can't tell you how much she's helped me. She never stopped trying I was a special case.. She is the best at what she does, because she loves it and it shows it's rare to find a compassionate doctor as well.

Amy at reception desk, Antonio and Dr. Page were all 'off the chart' kind, considerate and friendly. I had a very thorough and informative exam. Impressed with the new technology they offer. Extremely happy with my visit.

Tried to schedule a new patient appointment. Was told that if I don't leave with a definite diagnosis from the issue I'm experiencing then they won't charge my medical insurance but instead make me pay out of pocket. All my years of working in ophthalmology I've never heard such a silly thing. Will look elsewhere

Dr Andrew Collins is a great conductor in the surgery suite. He believes the patient's comfort comes first and directs staff accordingly. I recently had cataract surgery. He addresses my light sensitivity and any other issues quickly and accurately. Thank you Dr. COLLINS!

Front desk staff was nice, helpful, and welcoming, but I sat in an exam room for close to 40 minutes without seeing the doctor. Not the best first impression. I ultimately had to leave for work and did not get to actually accomplish what I had originally intended. Will not be coming back here.

My recent experience with Dr. Rita Page was wonderful. Dr. Page was kind, patient, and thorough and she has the loveliest bedside manner I've encountered in quite a while. I highly recommend her and I look forward to seeing her again.
