Dr. McCormack is a good-natured person who knows what she's doing. Throughout the exam, she gave clear instructions that made the exam go by efficiently and quickly. The receptionist was welcoming and ran through the pre-tests pretty quick as well. Overall, it was a smooth exam that was easy and fast.

READ THE FINE PRINT. I saw Dr. McCormack for an eye exam and when I got home, I noticed that my prescription for my left eye had significantly changed, cutting the amount of correction by half. Before placing an online order for my glasses, I called Dr. McCormack to double check that the new prescription for my left eye hadn't been written incorrectly. I was told to get my new glasses and wear them for 2 weeks, and then if there was a problem I could come back in for a recheck. I wore the glasses for 2 weeks and then called to make an appointment to get my left eye rechecked, as the vision in that eye is blurry with the new prescription. Today I got a call from Dr. McCormack's office asking me if I had my new glasses checked by the company that made them. I said no, as I purchased them online. I was then informed that in order to recheck my prescription, Dr. McCormack would first have to check my new glasses to make sure it wasn't a manufacturing error, and I would be charged $45 for that. So it appears there is a penalty for using an online company to get your prescription filled, and allegedly this was written somewhere in the intake materials I signed (I'm not sure, because I don't recall ever seeing this). While it only takes a minute or less to check glasses, I was told that regardless of whether or not my prescription, as written by Dr. McCormack, was wrong, I would have to pay 45 dollars. Fine, if the online manufacturer got it wrong, maybe the $45 charge is somehow reasonable??? But in the instance of the optometrist getting the prescription wrong, it is not fair that the patient has to pay an additional $45 to remedy the situation. In the latter case, Dr. McCormack's refusal to stand behind her prescription and fix it (without an additional fee) if it is incorrect is simply unconscionable. Clearly her practice is more about profit than patient care. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE.

Great experience! This was my first eye exam with Dr. Brandy McCormack. I was seen on time and she and her assistant were efficient and friendly. It was the fastest eye exam I've ever had, yet I still felt that she was thorough and listened carefully to my concerns. I LOVE that I was able to get my prescription for glasses so that I can get it filled where ever I want. This office does not sell glasses or contacts. I also like that I was able to schedule my appointment online. I am very happy that I decided to switch to Dr. McCormack.

My husband and I went for a regular eye exam and were so pleased with our whole experience. It was so friendly, prompt and efficient! We were able to get an appointment together quickly and at a time convenient for us. I just took our nine-year-old son yesterday and Dr. Marquardt was awesome with him, as well. We got glasses at Costco and it was so convenient and we saved a ton from previous eye doctors. Highly recommended!

I've called multiple times and know no answers, I leave message for return calls and so far after 3 attempts I have to drive 25 miles to there location to get answers

Other than a minor screw-up with my appointment time, a generally good experience. The practice is modern and professional. Dr. McCormack is professional and thorough. Her front desk/assistant is definitely more proficient as an assistant than a front-desk person, but overall, that is preferable to the other way around. The Costco location is convenient, and, certainly, parking is no problem. As a healthcare provider myself, and as a patient, I would not hesitate to recommend this office.

Great experience! Fourth optometrist I've been to in the past 6 years and I think they had the best testing. I think I got a really accurate prescription and had a good visit. Wouldn't say the practice is overly nice but I didn't care as long as everything was accurate and quick which it was. One weird thing was that she didn't know the price of lenses at Costco.. I understand they're not affiliated but if you're attached to one you would think they would know the price range.

The exam was very thorough and comprehensive. Waiting on the fulfillment of my prescription to see the results. Dr. McCormack is very pleasant and professional. I understand that she is probably in a busy environment, being at the Costco, but taking a few more minutes for pleasantries and explanations of procedures would be appreciated.
