Dr. Karen Schmidt,

Dr. Schmidt has been my eye doc for the last 11-12 years and I have NEVER had a bad experience. All of my experiences have actually been remarkable. Literally. I always leave her office remarking on what a great experience that was and grateful I found someone who is as caring, competent, funny coupled with such a gentle "bedside manner." I also love the woman who takes care of the office. She's been with Dr. Schmidt for the duration I have been a patient. She's very efficient and I rarely have to wait to get an appointment or in the "waiting" area. Just a little goldmine this place.

My teenager now has contacts and she can see! :-) Both Dr. Schmidt and Deanne (I hope I didn't mess up the spelling too much) are absolutely wonderful. They are professional, handle all the people in the office (and on the phone) with care and efficiency. I was not having a good day, yet these two took care of our needs thoroughly, kindly and wonderfully. It is a very busy little office, but everyone was well taken care of...and we left VERY happy.

I had the best experience at Dr. Schmidt's office. The lady in front (I wish I knew her name) was so nice, and so competent, it was just amazing. She does both reception duties and the first set of eye tests. She was the really good at getting that glaucoma eye-puffer thing over with. It's very clear that these people respect customers' time. They are friendly without getting bogged down in chatting. Dr. Schmidt does a great job with explaining the condition of your eyes, and laying out your options in a way that is easy to understand and retain. I had the sense that she knows eyesight better than your average optometrist. She also gives the impression of having great respect for customers. Somehow they have carved out an extremely peaceful, professional little nook right in the front part of Walmart.

Dr.Schmidt is wonderful!!!! My only issue is with the receptionist at her office. Every task I have needed help with she has messed up. She is very good at communicating, returning calls and texting, but when it comes to actually doing the job, the receptionist is incompetent.

Making an appointment with Dr. Karen Schmidt was easy and fast. Great personality, knowledgeable and did a thorough eye exam. No wait time, very prompt. Highly recommended.

Incredibly friendly location for residents or anyone else with a hectic schedule. Dr. Schmidt and her staff fit me in for an appointment on short notice and were so helpful, professional, and proficient in getting me a prescription for my contact lens. Thank you!

I can't stress how much I love this place! Everyone who works there are super helpful and nice! And It wasn't hard for me to make an appointment.

Very friendly and knowledgable doctor. I would recommend this Optometrist. Not to forget, great and friendly receptionist as well.
