Fantastic experience start to finish. Excellent care.
Previous to my visit to Dr. Gonce, I had a terrible experience with a rude, dismissive doctor at another clinic in the Pantops area, Horizon; Not knowing what to expect since it was my first ever eye exam, he disregarded my sensitivity to bright light due to a severe PTSD response it caused, (despite my explaining this before the exam even began); so I was very nervous to have my eyes examined again--fearful almost. But my experience at Dr. Gonce's office was completely the opposite. Each and every one of the staff were so friendly and answered all of my questions thoroughly, putting me at total ease. The technician Austin addressed my concerns with care and sincerity-- I could not have had a better experience. A nice, clean office and convenient location to boot. I would highly recommend making appointments early, he is popular and books way out-- I waited months to get in (but that's a good thing when you know the doctor is in demand!). THANK YOU Austin, Dr. Gonce, and staff. I will refer you to friends, neighbors, and family.
