UVA Health Eye Clinic Northridge

I went here twice two years ago for Glaucoma and Cataract surgery. Both times were a good experience, good staff, Dr. was great and on schedule. I am going in about a week for a follow-up and I'll report back on that experience. All my other follow-ups have been downtown and well handled.

Eye clinic is split between two floors and forcing the mostly elderly patient population to move between two different floors over the course of their appointment was a very poor choice on behalf of management. My doctor is great though.

Excellent doctor, and Excellent service however, they have poor time management, I had to visit there in May 2021. I had appoint there at 11:15am, however I had to wait 2 hour at the reception to see the doctor, I drove 80 miles to get there. After 2 hour drive to get there and waiting at the reception for more 2 hour before I can see doctor is unacceptable.

This doctor on 3rd floor eye clinic, seen my husband this (BIGOT) had less patience then I had with their long waiting time, where he (invited me to leave), when I question it. Insulting us Infront of his staff, adding insult to injury, once he had shut the door...said?? (" This is not Hardee's you don't get what you want")!! ...Oh you know I responded...he couldn't say whether he was being racist or not...( I asked...trump ) The receptionist are more polite and courteous than his stuff. This man is a starlight-up ( BIGOT )and a liar from his statements placed my husband Medical chart, YEAH...on his Medical chart!??! So you know he really wants to get his side out. My (advice!) to this...doctor is change you coat back in for your hood or get a job not working with the public!

The care here seems good.. excellent doctor. The wait times are totally insane. I know eye emergencies come up frequently, but it is crazy to have to wait 4+ hours in a crowded waiting room for a scheduled appointment.

Poorly organized, waited 90 minutes to see a doctor and still not enough time. Been to many eye clinics. This sets a new bar. They need to do some benchmarking and open their eyes to their performance. Truly Soviet care.

Doctor's and staff are so helpful and knowledgeable! They always listen and meet my needs as a patient. One of the best offices I have been to since diagnosed with my brain disease.

Brought my sister over. Worst run office ever seen. If you come plan on being here all day. Total garbage place. Would gave zero if they had one.
