My overall experience at Griffey Eye Care was fine. The staff was polite. Dr. Griffey is a very good doctor, professional, and thorough. I did not like the fact that I was there for 2 1/2 hours for my initial consultation w/Dr. Griffey as I was not told (by the scheduler) that prior to the appointment so I could know how to maneuver myself. Other than the unknown time it was a good visit prior to my up coming surgery.

They made sure I understood what was going to happen, and that I understood what I needed to do to achieve the desired outcome. Recently I've dealing with eye issues & seen by Dr. Griffey, he was wonderful. He doesn't treat you like just next in line, he takes care of you as a person. Great experience. The entire staff from check-in to doctor was very professional and knowledgeable. I went for a cataract consultation. Turned out my the astigmatism in my right eye was too bad for 100% correction. There was zero pressure to move forward with the procedure. Fortunately, my cataracts aren't too bad yet. My plan is to wait a couple years to see if technology changes enough for my eyes.
