The optometric technician who assisted me "D" or "Deshawn" (i'm sorry if that's a misspelling) before my exam was fantastic -- very knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt completely at ease throughout the process. It's rare to find someone who's both highly skilled and genuinely friendly. The entire visit was smooth and professional from start to finish. And I didn't spend more than 30 minutes there!! That's def a plus!!

I did like this place at one time as a customer but that has changed. Please don't waste your time going here!! The staff is awesome but the Optometrist here is very rude!! She wrote the wrong prescription for my husband. I noticed it because I had his previous prescription and brought it to her attention. Prescriptions can change but what she wrote was totally wrong. Having the wrong prescriptions can also affect your eyesight. When looking back at the screens it showed it was wrong. She addressed it in a very foul manner. She was very unprofessional. She had a terrible attitude and walk away while I was speaking to her because she was mad she got called out on writing the prescription wrong. She tried to say I wanted her to change the prescription and I didn't ask her to change the prescription. Common sense tells you that you can't change a prescription without seeing the patient to see what needed to be changed. I was showing her the difference in the prescriptions so she'd see the issues. Had she been listening instead of being rude she'd know what I was asking. I had already asked her staff about scheduling him to come back so she could see him again to correct her mess up. I asked her about that or to not bill him so he could be seen elsewhere with his job insurance because they won't pay for two different places. He was upset about being given the wrong prescription. He felt like it happened because she was rushing. It didn't even take her 30 minutes to do the whole process of his eye exam. She left right out afterwards and people were still in her office. She'll be loosing me and my husband as customers.

This place is the worst. Started in June, waited several weeks for my trial contacts to come in, I finally called them and was told that those are on back order, of course they couldn't be bothered to call me. They ordered them from another store and after waiting another week I called again and was told they'd been in for several days, again couldn't be bothered to call me. Had my daughter swing in to pick em up and they aren't even the right contacts. Wait another coupla weeks for the right ones. Then when I finally decide to order my contacts I discover that I was given a single vision prescription for multi focal contacts...and of course they REFUSE TO ANSWER THE GODDAMN PHONE!!!

I loved how fast and easy the appointment was. Last year I was referred to a large facility with dozens of employees and different doctors and it was a terrible experience. Even with insurance I ended up paying over $200 for just a contact fitting, but at Legacy Eye Care I paid less than half of that for my fitting and my new contacts feel better and I can see better. Staff was very nice and made it an comfortable experience.

Easy to get in for general visit. It took calling 2-3x per week for 4 weeks and voicemails before them to finally get back to me regarding a question on my prescription and we're unorganized with the follow up. Would not recommend someone to go here- take the extra time for a reputable practice

I took my mom to see this doctor and she was really nice , thorough and professional . The staff went through all the insurance info before we started. They did all the tests right there and then in the office and I did not have to bring my mom back multiple times to have them done which was such a relief. The doctor explained everything at the end and asked her if there were any questions. I will be going back for my own exam too , very convenient and efficient.

I saw Dr. Murtaza in the Petersburg office for a slightly red right eye. She looked at the eye and said it was likely allergy related. I agreed because I had been working in my yard. She gave me a prescription which I did not fill because I wanted to try warm compresses before using any over the counter drops or medication. The compresses cleared my eye within a week. When I received my insurance claim summary, I discovered Dr. Murtaza documented she had put tear duct plugs in both eyes. I am a competent, sane individual and I am keenly aware of any foreign objcets being placed in my eye(s). Dr. Murtaza is a liar. She obviously is aware the average person does not read his/her claim report. I do. The money she was paid did not come from me directly, but from my medical insurance. Why am I concerned and am taking time to confront her? One of the reasons our insurance premiums continue to rise is due to fraudulent charges like the one Dr. Murtaza sent to my insurance. What an unethical, unscrupulous, dastardly act!! She does not have a moral compass that is functioning. God Forbid!! This really deserves no stars!!

I originally had an appointment in December. I was contacted and told the doctor would be gone for the rest of the month so I had to reschedule. I rescheduled to January 10th. On the 9th I received a voicemail confirming my next day appointment. I arrived at the office a few minutes early to discover the doctor was not going to be in. I was also told that the receptionist tried to call me the day before but kept getting a busy signal. I have an iPhone 13. You won't get a busy signal. I wasted a whole morning for lack of a proper phone call.
