America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

The ENTIRE staff is awesomely wonderful! I felt calm and relaxed during the entire process! PLEASE PLEASE keep this staff! You would be hard pressed to find someone else who would fit in better! Also, it was brought to my attention that the Company is considering to stop using the 'owl' and I feel that that would be a HIGE mistake. It was the 'owl' in the commercial that got my young grandson to get me to watch the commercial (which I usually ignore) and I learned about what American Best offers and I am here stating that American Best IS America's Best.

I will admit, I was skeptical of the whole virtual eye doctor experience. My teenage son needed an eye exam after complaining of not being able to see the board in school. We scheduled WITH America's Best and they had availability right away. We arrived, noted their large selection of frames and waited for his appointment. We were called into a room where the technician recorded preliminary information. We then waited for the virtual doctor. Everything went so smoothly, the employees were very kind and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Shoutout to the kind woman who ordered my son's glasses. Her name escapes me but she was extremely personable and helpful. I even scheduled my next eye exam with their office! Highly recommend this provider after YEARS of unpleasant experiences with MyEyeDr in Culpeper.

Was given new contacts with a trial pair. Put the trial pair on, and they weren't comfortable so I returned asking for different contacts since the trial pair weren't comfortable. Was told I had to have a follow up in order to exchange contacts and was given a new trial pair. Told I had to wear those to the appointment. Turns out the new trials were the same contacts, but they failed to mention that part. Shower up for follow up and waited an hour. Finally got up to leave and just return the contacts and that's when they finally mentioned that the trials I had were the same. They fit fine and I didn't need to change contacts. A complete waste of taking a morning off of work. The lack of simple communication is inexcusable. I will be looking for somewhere else to go in the future.

My glasses needed to be realigned. The Culpeper staff on 2/6/2026(morning) were precise and friendly! Thank you all so much, ya'll made me feel like a valued customer .

Culpeper, VA USA Covid 19 review: At this time, as of 8/25/20 the patient is the only one allowed in the building. Anyone that comes with you must wait outside for the entire time. As the receptionist advised, you can watch through the window to watch patient try frames on There didn't appear to be a variety of frames to select from, in fact, the little bit they had looked all the same although they did have several name brands like Nike, Coach, Oakley, Michael Kors, Ray-Ban, Calvin Klein and other house and generic btands. After the patient tries on frames they put them in a box to sanitize before putting back up which is good. It's good to see that they are following great cleaning practices for the virus.

First time going today! Tricia was amazing with helping me pick the best glasses and helping me with insurance. Such a bright and friendly lady!

Make a ton of appointments knowing you're "short staffed" "you should have come on a doctor day" 3 hrs? Waiting? Unacceptable. If you need an eye exam dont bother. You'll spend entire day waiting for nothing. Find a real office with real doctors that actually honor the appointment times and don't make excuses about it. How about don't over book your schedule to just collect the money and waste peoples time. I wish zero stars was an option.
