Gregory K. Dixon OD

I returned to the area after 23 years. There was no one else I would rather oversee my complex vision matters than Dr. Dixon. He was my childhood optometrist through my late teens. Then I joined the service, moved to a new area, and had to utilize other vision care. After recently relocating back, walking back into Dr. Dixon's office yesterday was like a dose of down-home I didn't know I needed. Nothing has changed. His staff was pleasant, and he was just as fabulous, funny, and meticulous with his comprehensive exams as I remember. They even pulled my old file back from 2002! As someone who has spent 39 years half blind (literally, as I only have vision in one eye), there really isn't anyone else I would rather see (pun, or no pun). Thanks, Dr. Dixon, staff, and the office emotional support pup. I look forward to seeing you on the next exam (yes, a pun).

My husband and I had an appointment with Dr Dixon today. We were both given thorough exams. I appreciate his knowledge and expertise. He took the time to listen and answer the questions I had concerning my recent cataract surgery. I'm grateful for the care we received today. I recommend him and endorse him without hesitation. He's becoming more and more rare in today's healthcare scenario. In addition, his staff was accommodating and gracious in every way.

Dr Dixon is so nice and very knowledgeable. He genuinely cares about helping people. The girls at the front desk are absolutely awesome and worked with me with scheduling and payment. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I'm so glad I found this place and look forward to coming back.

Ever since the new staff was hired it's been a terrible experience. The older woman at the front desk is the sole reason I nor my family will not come back. She's been so disrespectful to me dispite that it's her job to be helpful, communicative, and provide a great experience. The past 3 interactions I've had with her disgust me. Unhelpful and absolutely RUDE. There is a way to be polite and helpful if you need to problem solve or accommodate for the people coming in. She lacks those skills. Dr. Dixon is great but we are done coming to this office.

My glasses broke while I was working. Called and Rebecca worked me into the schedule for the same day. Literally 1.5 hours after I broke my glasses I was with Dr Dixon getting an eye exam since my glasses was over a year old and severely scratched. The whole process was painless and extremely efficient. I now have new glasses . If you need a honest and caring eye Dr go here I highly recommend them. The whole staff is excellent.

Great Dr and does his job well! He's treated my grandparents great every time they went into the office. Edit; had an accident (stabbed in the eye by a piece of hay) Monday 10/13/25 while away from home. Tuesday (10/14/15) we called the office and was told to come right in! He fixed me right up and had me come back the following day (10/15/25) to check it out. We thought I was on the path to heal. But today (10/17/25) I woke up with discomfort blurred vision and what I described as a floater. Called the office and once again told me to come right in when I could. He fixed me right up and sent me on my way again. I return tomorrow to make sure the issue is under control (no more hay in my eye) and see the progress of the tear on my eye. Hes very thorough and actually listens to what your problems are! I highly recommend him! I've only spoken to one of the staff members, but the other one seems sweet and is always busy doing something that needs to be done in the office. The wait isn't terrible and he makes emergencies a priority (like an er would)! I'm very thankful he helped me, I still have my eyesight and on the path of healing!

I love this office!!! Dr.Dixon and the ALL the girls have always been so helpful and sweet to me. They really care about the patients here and try their absolute best to fix any problem you may have. Been going here for over 10 years and I will never ever go to another eye dr as long as this one is in business!! They have helped me get my first pair of glasses, acclimate to them, try contacts, help me with putting them in and getting them out (so much patience especially on Abbys part!!! It took me almost an hour and she was so nice to me about it! Not rushing me at all!), and fixing my glasses and frames multiple times! If you have a chance to go in and see the delightfully eclectic Dr.Dixon his office & his crew I would say do it!

I saw Dr. Dixon for the first time this past Monday and thought he was great! Plus, who wouldn't love going to the doctor and hanging out with the cutest sweetest little office dog! I ordered glasses that day and was able to pick them up the following day. Staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend and will continue to go back to Dr. Dixon.
