The front desk is so nice ! Which isn't normal for offices lol But Dr. Brear is hands down the best doctor I've ever come across whether it's a dentist , or medical doctor . He and his team listens to your concerns and he gives you each and every option you have regarding your problem ! He's very gentle and always made sure I was comfortable before doing anything ! Everyone deserves a Dr. Brear

I am so thankful for Dr. Brear and his kind, compassionate way with me during an eye incident. He came in after hours, performed a thorough exam and assured me that I would recover from my eye situation. If you want good care with real concern, he's your guy!

Dr. Brear and his staff were wonderful! The staff from the front receptionist to the checkout were professional and treated me with the utmost respect. The nursing staff explained every thing before conducting testing, and the final exam and testing with Dr. Brear was thorough, again with him explaining not only why the test was being conducted, but explaining my results as well!! I highly recommend the Commonwealth Eye Center and Dr. Brear in particular!!

What a joke! I can not believe they charged my insurance for an eye appointment. I was never seen by the doctor and the technician told me my eyes have not changed. When she gave me the eye exam, she never changed the letters to see my correct eye numbers. I was shocked when she said my eyes have not changed. It is because the letters never changed, so I remembered all the letters and I even got 2 letters wrong to see where we would go from there and yet my eyes have not changed? They also refused to give my a glass prescription without paying a fee, in which I told them I was informed it was free with my insurance. After I called 5-6 times to see if my prescription was ready. They never got back to me. This office is unprofessional and charges for an eye exam in which they do not give.

Sitting here at 0915 for a 0835 appointment. This place is the worst for customer care. No concern from the staff. How can you be 40 minutes late for an 0835 appointment? Once beyond the front desk, all was as good as it could get. I explained my concerns and the doctor listened and said he would address my concerns.
