EnVision Family EyeCare- Angela C. Billmayer, OD

My experience at Envision EyeCare has been stellar. Such a kind and friendly staff! After thorough exams with state-of-the-art equipment I felt confident in Dr. Golson's clear diagnosis. My optical expert, Sierra, could not have been more helpful. She picked out the most amazing frames and fit them on me perfectly (shout out to Andrea who was also a huge help). Honestly--just wonderful all around. And their new location is outstanding! So glad to see a vacant building lovingly repurposed into a BEAUTIFUL space. I highly recommend Envision to anyone who wants a knowledgeable, caring staff and a great variety of the most stylish and well-made frames.

I had a terrible experience here yesterday. The staff was wonderful, Dr. Angela Billmayer, however behaved in the following way and you can simply decide for yourself if you should seek or continue to seek her professional services. In December 2023 I had a contact lens fitting and as is customary given 2 brands to try. One was satisfying the other not. Apparently prescriptions are brand specific. So although Dr. Billmayer recorded my feedback correctly she failed to update the prescription to reflect the brand I had chosen. This error led to the unfulfillment of my order verbally made through her office since there was no prescription on file that matched the brand I chose. After weeks of waiting I figured something had gone wrong administratively and went to order the contacts of my choice at 1800contacts. When i went to schedule my next eye exam I was very low on supplies and my glasses were giving my headaches so i had no backup. As a courtesy they said they could tie me over to my appt with trials but the brand that matched the prescription i had on file were not in stock so id have to wait for them (remember due to the doctors error the prescription on file was for the brand i didnt want but no one knew this at the time). Well nothing arrived so for a full week i had to wear dailies. Then when i came for my eye exam Dr. Billmayer began her reprimand for me not scheduling the appt sooner, describing how my eyes were inflamed (i already knew that because its really uncomfortable not changing out contacts for a week)..and then claimed 1800 contacts broke the law and fulfilled the brand i wanted ILLEGALLY!...I felt terrible. I was also confused as to why the trials hadnt arrived sooner as they were promised. As she started to read her own notes about my December 2023 appt and January 2024 followups out loud it became known to her and to me it was she who had neglected to update the brand prescription in accordance with my feedback Jan 2024 which led to all the confusion. Rather than apologize or be kind, she quickly produced the very prescription i needed and requested as trials 2 weeks earlier (they were in stock!) And told me my appt was over!!! I think what happened is her staff is competent where she failed to be competent....saw the other brand prescription in the notes and gave 1800 contacts the correct prescription she failed to update..helping me and exposing her unprofessionalism. Just think hard about my experience before you go to Dr. BILLMAYER who I found to care first and foremost about herself and not about her patient.

My first time visit with Dr. Mauro was great! Dr. Mauro is professional and complete with explanations for my eye conditions. I've come away feeling much better informed and will definitely continue to follow up with her. Thank you Dr. Mauro!

Dr. Kim Mauro is fantastic. She is great at listening to finding specific solutions to my needs. She doesn't just offer a prescription and send you on your way, but she takes time to get to know you and make suggestions. If you're looking for a great person that values you, Dr. Kim Mauro is who you are looking for!

She's a very good eye doctor, very kind, one time, when she took something in my eye, she didn't charge me, she asked the front desk not to charge the insurance, because it was just little , and also, when you prescribed your glasses, they will use every bit of the insurance for you to spend less.

I have been going to Dr. Billmayer for 10 years. She is very good and explains what is going on with your eyes and changes to your vision and eyewear. I highly recommend.

I have had a really great experience, myself, for several years, and now I am bringing my family. She is very kind and knowledgeable, with very businesslike office and frame shop.

Dr Billmayer and Dr. Mauro are really great !! The staff go over and beyond!! Overall great experience
