Highly recommend Lasik Plus even though I'm not getting the surgery due to their honesty. Very friendly staff did my eye exam and apparently I have 20/20 vision! The doctor said I should save my money and buy a Mercedes! I am recommending them for their helpfulness and honesty. Most places will just try and take your money.

Great experience, had it done 3 days ago and there's no irritation today, they was some irritation in the 6 hours after but quickly resolved, some hazing but that will resolve in a couple weeks. Vision is much better already. STAFF they were great, very competent, the surgeon was informative and to the point. Glad I did it me wish I had done it earlier

I was able to get same day lasik with a -8.00 prescription! I am from fredericksburg and went first locally and was told I could only do prk. I wanted a 2nd opinion and had been wearing my glasses for 2 weeks already. I scheduled a 1030am same day lasik apt with Dr Roberts in Glen Allen and I was able to get same day lasik not prk! I was gone by 130pm same day. I'm so happy! I can now see better than 20/20. The experience is life changing for me since I have been wearing glasses or contacts since 2nd grade! I think because of my higher prescription i wasn't immediately able to see great but it got better. I would say by day 3 post op i considered myself having 'good vision'. When I went home that day I noticed I could read the license plates so my vision wasnt terrible, just blurry. I didn't have any pain afterwards, I just felt like I had rubbed something in my eye and had gotten it out vs having something in my eye. I was prepared for more pain than it was. I felt like my vision was 'better than my contacts' by day 10 post op. I just want people to know that even with really a strong prescription and also being older (I'm 38) I was still able to get lasik and had great results! The only room for improvement is I called the emergency after hours line at 6pm concerned about a blood spot on my iris, not the white part of my eye.. i just wanted to know if it was normal. I didn't receive a call back until 830am the next day but they said it was normal and the 12 oclock hinge sometimes bleeds from the lasik. Overall, I'm happy and I can see great. I'm continuing to use eye drops but I don't feel like my eyes are dry at this point. I'm 17 days post op writing this.

I am writing a very honest review. I was super nervous about the procedure. I have worn glasses or contacts for almost 40 years. I went in for my first visit and everyone was very kind and explained everything. I went back the following week for my LASIK. The doctor was great and the procedure is super quick. Now they did tell me at my first visit that it would burn after the numbness wore off. Like "cutting onions". Absolutely not!!! it felt like my eyes were being branded!! For about an hour, the pain was so intense! I thought I messed up getting LASIK, but after an hour,the pain went away and by the next morning I could see better than I ever did with glasses! By the 2nd day I could see my phone close up. It has really been an experience. I highly recommend LASIK to anyone. For 1 hour of pain to being able to see is worth every penny!!! I could not be happier

This place is absolutely amazing. From the second you walk in you feel welcomed, cared for, and even loved. I built some sort of friendship with each one of the doctors and nurses with the short week that they were taking care of me. They are with you through every step of the way and never fail to let you know that. Lasikplus truly is doing what they do for the right reasons. They are not in it for the money they are in it for your happiness and life changing experience. My family and I are super pleased with the way everything went, and I would highly recommend them to change anyones life the way they have changed mine.

Experience was stupendous. Quick, thorough, and compassionate service. Very pleased with the results.

The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Doctor Robert's was good at telling me what to expect. The procedure itself was no more than 10 minutes. There was a little pain once the drops wore off after the procedure, but it wasn't anything unbearable, just uncomfortable. The only downfall was they don't mention the ability the get Contoura LASIK until you're there. It was $600 more than regular LASIK, and the pros include being less likely to experience halos, glares, and the laser hits more points on your eyes. The way they explain it is basically getting HD for your eyes. I got it, and I can't tell if it's any better than my vision was with contacts or not. The difference feels marginal for me. For reference, it's been almost a week since my procedure was done, so it's possible I just need more time to heal fully. Overall, the experience was good, just not sure about the Contoura being worth it for me.
