I recently moved to the Richmond area and found a new doctor, Timothy Holley, after seeing another opthamologist for many years. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Holley's demeanor as well as his knowledge, particularly in the field of cataract surgery and post-surgical vision correction. I have needed glasses or contact lenses since I was in seventh grade, so the care of my eyes and the quality of vision correction has always been significantly important to me. I knew that cataract surgery was imminent and asked lots of questions about the process and any options available to me. Dr. Holley's responses and explanations were reassuring and detailed. I was confident going into surgery that the outcome would be good, but I had no idea how good! My distance vision is excellent and my near vision is very good as well. I honestly am amazed and thrilled with the improvement in my vision! As I told, Dr. Holley, "I had no idea what I was missing! If I had realized, I would have had the cataracts removed sooner." He is a wonderful doctor who understands patients' needs and responds with facts and skill to improve their vision. I highly recommend Dr. Timothy Holley for the care of your eyes, whether routine examinations or surgical procedures! It is a pleasure to have him as my eye doctor because I know I am in good hands!

I was referred to Dr. Holley when my Ophthalmologist of 20 years retired a year ago. I thought I would never receive the same compassionate and expert eye care that I previously enjoyed for all those years. I was wrong! Dr. Holley is incredibly knowledgeable "with everything" eye care and has a great "bedside manner". I felt like he had been my eye doctor for years the very first time we met in his office. I highly recommend Dr. Holley and his staff for all your eye care needs, including routine annual exams, glasses and contacts. A special "shout-out" to Anita and Amber for the great job they do in assisting Dr. Holley.

Five stars is not enough to show the appreciation that I have for Dr. Holley. After 53 years of not being able to see well. Most people know truly what a leaf on a tree looks like. Most people take for granite good vision. In 2021 Dr. Holley did my cataract surgery as it was finally time for it to be done. Most people think "oh cataract surgery"- not a high risk... but for me it was. As I had a previous detached retina and was at high risk for it to happen again. I have been seeing him for a few years. For a long time other doctors have said when its time for cataract surgery, they would not do it due to the risk of another detached retina. Hopefully don't have to ever look for another provider for my eyes. Mary Corbett

Dr. Holly is a fantastic Opthalmologist. I am not a person who likes doctors but Dr. Holly's professionalism and caring attitude and genuine concern has won me over which speaks volumes about his character. If you need a good Opthalmolgist I highly recommend Dr. Holly.
