Crater Vision Center

I have been going to Dr. Moore for as long as I can remember. I have some unique eye issues and he stays right on top of it and if I need to go to a specialist, he sends me. Crater Vision is also amazing with their prices. I have been to other places that over charge for everything. Crater Vision helps me to navigate my insurance to use my benefits as best as possible. The office staff is amazing and works magic to get everyone appoints for this high demand practice.

Dr.Moore has been, by far, the best optometrist I have ever dealt with. He is very kind and I believe he actually cares about his patients. There's a lot of people that complain about the front desk but I'm there for the doctor and I haven't had a bad experience with the front desk at all.

I missed my appt and when I called to apologize and reschedule the woman who I spoke to was not pleasant at all. I will not be calling back. If I could give no stars for the terrible attitude for the phone interaction I would. Looking at some reviews seems to be a common compliant.

I had my first exam with Dr. Moore in March. I'd recently relocated to Petersburg and was looking to establish dental care with a local business. I looked up reviews and Crater Vision Center seemed like a great fit. Dr. Moore was professional and kind, the appointment went well. Unfortunately, my opinion soured once I was ready to pick up the contacts that I had ordered. There was a simple misunderstanding regarding the brand of contacts I requested. Not a big deal. Easily corrected, right. Wrong. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude and combative. She essentially tried force me to take the incorrect contacts because she'd ordered what was in my file, and had already run my insurance, and she'd never heard of the brand I wore. I refused. Then I was told to take a seat until Dr. Moore could speak with me. After a time of waiting, I assume he directed her to order the correct brand, as she reemerged from the back and flippantly said that she'd reorder. I am still appalled about the unprofessionalism and will never go back.

Everyone there was really nice. You don't really wait long at all to go back.would definitely recommend

I love going here to get my eyes examined. They are so friendly and welcoming. I feel like family. They genuinely care about you. My glasses are always ready the same day and good quality.

I love how fast they get you in and put. The Dr and Staff are very friendly and nice. I have been a patient now for 2 years and they are the best.
