Do not go to this eye center. They do NOT give you your Pupillary Distance measurement in your prescription and state that it's "in their policy" not to do so. For those that do not know what Pupillary Distance measurement is, it's the distance between the center of your pupils and is a CRUCIAL measurement to ensure you have glasses that work correctly. You are not given that as part of this center's prescriptions and to get it, they force you to buy a pair of glasses from them first. I would not be surprised if this place violated several interstate trade laws.
During the first visit months ago they said my corrected vision was 20/20, the wrote a different prescription anyway. Now I can't see as well and after being forced to "try it" for weeks they continue to delay rewriting the corrected prescription as I have to be rechecked again, and those are only at the end of W & TH, but to make it better the scheduler messed that up causing further delays. Once resolved will never go back and never recommend.
I have muscular dystrophy, so I am not able to walk stable. I had an eye appointment for my grandson at this office. When I arrived, there was a car with no handicapped tag or placard sitting in the only handicapped parking spot they have. I had to walk from the back parking lot to get to the building. When that car left the spot, my grandson moved our car....with handicapped tags into that spot so it would be easier for me. The lady (Amy) at the front desk took it upon herself to tell my grandson he had to move my car to allow another handicapped person to take that place. That car also had no handicapped tag or placard. So again, I had to walk to the back parking lot.
I kindly asked Dr.Jennings about getting some information about my granddaughters records so I could see how long it had been since she had been seen and at that time, she told me she was recommended glasses, but wasn't able to get them. I was going to schedule her an appointment and get her glasses. He said blatantly that he didn't have time to do that, that he had appointments to see. When just minutes before that, he and a couple other employees were standing in the hallway laughing and talking. I am getting my records and will never go back to this place again.
I had and eye appointment and my grandma took me cause I can't drive yet and my mom checked in online but when we got their the front desk was really rude to me and my grandma I was the lady with white/grey hair and she was just rude. My doctor and appointment was great though! I love my doctor he is so kind and funny but just know the front desk was rude.
Terrible experience. Would not recommend at all. Received sample contacts, the fit and size description was not even close. I go back for follow up apt and the Dr doesn't even recheck my eyes. He tweaks the prescription according to my old prescription I had to bring in and was supposed to order new samples. Not to mention he keeps making condescending remarks that my prescription doesn't work because I have dry eyes and that they cant always get the prescription 100%. I have not have never had dry eyes before. It's been over two weeks and my prescription has not arrived. I have called office several times with no return call.
I had such a great experience at this eye doctor.
To be honest, I had scheduled with another doctor, but they weren't able to get me in for another 2 1/2 weeks... Plus waiting for whatever time it would take for my glasses to be ready.
I called these guys and I was able to get in the next day.
Everyone was so kind, they really made me feel right At home., Dr. Jennings was my eye doctor, And he was so kind so informative.
I did self-pay And the cost of getting my eye exam and glasses was better than expected. I will be going back, 100%! Up until now, I have never recommended and eye doctor! But he is it!!
First time using since our family's optometrist's office closed earlier this year. Visited the first week of May. Examined and fitted for contacts. Contact order placed through their office and day of review. Called 2 weeks later to tell I hadn't received, and was advised that they should be arriving in the next few days. Now, June (3rd) and still no contacts. Called back today to ask for an update and was informed that they forgot to submit the order. Currently awaiting them to call and remedy situation. Staff was friendly, and Optometrist seemed very knowledgeable. I am hoping for an expedient resolution as I am currently without fresh contacts.

Lisa the tech who took me back for some basic testing was very polite and very knowledgeable in her job. Dr. Jennings was amazing. He took a lot of time and explained in detail the testing , and what he was doing and seeing in a way that I could understand. He was very polite and professional. I'm new to the area, very thankful I chose Friedrichs eye center.
