I had an appointment on 3/6/26@ 1500 hrs. They called and left voice message on Wednesday 6/4/26 and wanted me to confirm my appointment. Due to my working hours and not being able to reach them after I got off. So I did get a chance to call them to confirm my appointment on 6/5/26 with a Veronica and she advised me that my appointment was confirm. Got there on my appointment day 3/6/26 by 1445 and was told that my appointment was canceled. Advised the receptionist that I confirm it a day before, and she advised me that the appointment was canceled and given to someone else. Now I had to get off work and loose time for a appointment that I had been waiting for, for a year. And then receptionist going to ask me did I wanna make another one with them. I said no I don't want another appointment with y'all nor don't want y'all to find another provider. Yes I'm mad because that's not how to have a business. MY EYE DR SUCKS

Went in for an eye glasses and contact lens exam in August 2025. Everything went fine. Was told they would order trial contact lenses and would contact me when they arrived so that they could assist me in trying them on and to verify they were going to be a good fit. Didn't hear back from them so I called in November. I was told the trials have not arrived. I called back today, January 6 2026. I was told they were never ordered. They said they'd order them and they would arrive in a week. They also said they'd check and see if they had them there in stock and would call me back in 30 minutes. As you might have already guessed, I never got that call. I would recommend to stay away from this place. They obviously have many issues with their processes and procedures. Very unprofessional.

I arrived today for my 4pm appointment at 405 the secretary was on the phone and there was a sign that says scan the q r code to check in online. I waited 40 minutes and went back to the desk to see if they needed my ID and was told I was marked a no show because I didnt check in at the front desk. I could pay out of pocket for the virtual appointment which my insurance does not cover. I asked why and showed the email with the time stamp with me checked in and they said their system does not show that and I and to come back to the desk. Unbelievable! I told them that's not fair to me and no I did not want to reschedule. There needs to be a sign that says if you check in online even though you are there you need to still come back to the desk. Im not understanding why thw receptionist didn't ask who I was when she saw me scan the code.

Wonderful experience! Everyone was so nice and kind. My daughter was nervous and a kind worker offered her a toy to play with. They're lovely.

My visit today was extraordinary! I thought I was just going for an eye exam, but I ended up meeting an amazing young man, whom I shall not soon forget. Jeremy (my eye tech), I do not know your last name, nor do I know much about you other than the few things we shared during our brief encounter, but I will remember you always. This young man is caring, professional, personable and wise beyond his years! You never know who you will encounter and why, but I am certain he was put in my life today for a reason. MyEyeDr. in South Hill, VA is a better place because of Jeremy (and Veronica). Thank you and I wish you all the best in life!

My husband and I both had a virtual appointment, it was a great experience, very thorough and complete. The tech in the room Jeremy, was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend this business.

I had my first appointment to get new glasses. It was later in the day close to closing time. The first person was a lady that did test on my eyes. She was a very nice person and was through took her time. Then I went into a room waiting for Dr. Ben. He did my eye exam in less then ten minutes, it was really fasted and rushed. I had to ask him about one of the reasons I said I was in to see him about. He checked it and said it was nothing. Went to the place with glasses. Got mine ordered. When they came in I felt like they were off. I had to get on an appointment for months later but they put me on a cancellation list. I got in pretty fast. I went in saw the tech. lady i saw the first time. She realized the girl who ordered my glasses sent my prescription in wrong. They got them reordered and it was two weeks wait again. I now had to call them cause my frames broke and realized the lady who ordered them the first time never informed me of the protective plan so I would have to pay 99 for new frames out of pocket. I got the same ones online for alot less. I will not be going back to that office.

Has a 10am appointment this morning which I arrived early for, finally called back by the technician at 10:35. This took 7 minutes. Back to the waiting room for another 35 minutes and the doctor called me back. He spoke as if I were a child, I'm in my 60s, it took him 5 minutes to do an eye examination. I've never had a 5 minute eye exam. I missed 1 number out of the 12 I read and he upped my prescription. Took me out and sat me down in the section to buy glasses which I advised I would buy elsewhere especially after reading the reviews. I was also charged the $39 for screening photos only and I've never paid more than my $10 copay. Also it took longer to get my prescription which I probably won't use due to lack of exam, and receipt than my actual time in the exam. Will not return. The office in Garner I used to go to was a professional office which this one doesn't come close to.
