Had an eye exam scheduled for my daughter and the day before got a phone call letting me know it was a 2+hr virtual appointment. So i called and said i don't want a virtual appointment and they rescheduled me for almost two weeks out. Then 4 days before the appointment they call and ask to verify her virtual appointment. So due to that we are going elsewhere and called to cancel and told the person who answered the situation and they could care less. We have been going here with our other kids for about 15 years or more. Sad to see you are truly just a number!!!! Stay away from here unless you like 2+ hour appointments.

The staff is so friendly. The two women that helped me pic my glasses were the absolute sweetest. Thank you so much to Kaylee and Dessire for all their help

Really love the professionalism! Tashayla Witcher and Stephanie Mumford was great and very passionate about their job. I had both of my grandsons in there getting glasses and they both had alot patience while working with them.

I visited this location with high hopes of a smooth and professional eye exam experience, but I left extremely disappointed and frustrated. The staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. Despite making an appointment in advance, I was 3 minutes late and they tried to cancel the appointment. This was after I scheduled my original appointment online for another day and was contacted because no optometrist would be in that day. The customer service was horrendous. The staff acted like it was a burden to answer simple questions or help with anything beyond the basics. I left feeling completely unheard and dissatisfied. Considering the lack of professionalism and the troubling handling of insurance matters, I would *never* recommend this optometry office to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and find a place that values customer care and transparency. Not to mention the weird practice of "holding insurance" for 30 days even if you opt to not purchase frames or a prescription. Never seen that done before even at other locations. Now why would they need to do that?

Had a 1030 appt for daughters walked in at 1031 receptionist cancelled my appointment and was rude about it. Anywhere I've ever been there's always a ten min grace period but I guess not here. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Poor reception throughout both visits, info gathering for appt very inaccurate, which caused problems during appt. Technician at second appt late and front desk attempted to cover, technician also wanted to defend being late versus just apologizing, would have been the easiest thing to do. Second doctor for follow up very arrogant. Would definitely give zero starts if possible.

Don't try to make a appointment here. It will be rescheduled over and over because the doctor is NEVER THERE! I've been going to America's best for 7 years in Colonial Heights Va. This location is The Worst on keeping an appointment. Going to try Chesapeake and see if they're any better or this company will lose this customer! Period!!

The best eye exam experience in my life! I would rate it 10 stars if I could.. Dr. Gandhi and his staff were knowledgeable and helpful I could not believe how good the service was compared to other places I've been to.. When I mentioned that my nose pads were getting dirty and I needed an adjustment the staff quickly replaced them and cleaned my glasses.. they also readjusted them so they fit better.. I tell you, I don't mind driving 45 minutes to get quality service like this! Dr. Gandhi was personable and answered my concerns and worries about my eye.. High praise about the whole team at the Suffolk America's Best branch! Y'all are amazing!
