Incredible experience. Accepts Tricare. Dr. Lotz and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I just left the office with my 8 year old son, and feel so lucky to have found such a patient doctor to sit down and make sure his prescription was right. This has not been my experience at other offices. I cannot recommend enough.

Update: Does not appear this review was read by the stores location. After looking up the frames I purchased, I found out the glasses come with case and premium cleaning cloth. However, when I picked up my glasses I received the case but no cleaning cloth. When I asked, I was told I would have to purchase one, not knowing one was supposed to come with. Now thinking this is an underhand way of charging customers more money. (Took another star off for this) ORIGINAL Post: Overall, a good experience. Good selection of glasses. My biggest disappointment was when I picked up my glasses. I'm used to having a microfiber included to help with keeping the lenses scratch free. When I asked about a microfiber and they said they have them for three dollars. So I paid the three dollars for the microfiber. Come to find out the microfiber has their advertising on it. My personal opinion is if you're going to have your advertising on a microfiber, they should come with the purchase of new glasses. Slightly feels like they nickel and dime their customers.

Great eye doctor who is patient and knowledgeable. I want to give a shout-out to Brenda, too. She went above and beyond, and her helpfulness is greatly appreciated.

Awesome! First class service and care from start to finish. The staff is really great and very kind - every visit every call the best! My family and I have been going here for a decade+ and have been treated with respect since day one. Ty Dr. Lotz and team!

The service in November is the only reason why this is review got 2 stars.. I was seen by a prover here due to head injuries related to a car accident. We needed to verify nothing was wrong with my eyes I had my appointment on 11/26/2024 I believe and since then my lawyer and myself have been trying to get my medical records When I started to try and get this information myself a couple weeks ago after the hassle my lawyer was telling me she had.. I can see what she was talking about First they kept telling me I had never been seen though. I had to call back with my bank statement where it showed I paid $75 for a service along with the date of service and referral info. Turns out they had my information like date of birth incorrect in the system Then I was told they could not give me my medical records? Made no sense considering it's my medical records On another call I was told the provider would come up with something to give to me and I would get a call back.. never got a call back It had been a few days so I decided to call them again today for an update. The 'medical records' were ready to be picked up I get there to be charged another $50 for a 1 piece printed off email type of document that stated nothing was wrong. That was it No itemized billing document, no actual treatment records, nothing Terrible experience and hopefully my lawyer can use this 1 email document for my court case

My daughter went to Dr. Lotz for some new glasses. A lady that was supposed to be helping with her frames was very rude and tried to make the choice for her. When my daughter's frames came in she gave her unsolicited opinion how she didn't like them and said my daughter looked like her grandpa with those type of glasses. That tainted my daughter's experience with her new glasses purchase. We are very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and tact at Dr. Lotz office and we will not return. I caution anyone who comes here.

Sadly, this rating does not reflect the service and care of Dr. Lotz. He is a caring and trusted doctor. Unfortunately, I cannot speak the same for his administrative staff. It is worth noting that we live about 35 min drive from their office (which is in a very rural part of our town), to support a small business. I take my entire family there and have for at least 10 years. I drive past at least three different optometrists' offices along the way, who have great reputations, to support Dr. Lotz because he is such a good doctor. This review is in response to the wrong contacts being ordered by mistake by the front desk. I was given a trial pair of lenses that would help me from having to wear bifocals. I wore them for one week and they didn't work for me. When I went to order new contact lenses, I asked her to order my "regular" lenses. She mistakenly ordered this combination of short-vision and long vision combo. I didn't realize it until I was home with the lenses. When I called her to tell her about the problem, she said that she would speak with "the doctor" and return my call. Several hours went by with no returned call, so I called back. She said that the manufacturer wouldn't take them back, despite the boxes being unopened. So, I asked "what does that mean for me? You are the ones that ordered the wrong lenses." She said that she refused to take them back, saying "they are yours" and that the problem was mine not hers. In all my days of wearing corrective lenses since I was eight years old, I have never been treated like this. This kind of treatment outlined here really saddens me. Prospective patients, if you are looking for a good experience, end-to-end, especially when mistakes happen (on the provider's end), this is not your place. The backend of the house, with Dr. Lotz, is fantastic. The front end needs more training in empathy and customer service.
