Dr. Buck is the best! When I first started seeing him, my eyes were very bad, as I have worn glasses since the 5th grade and contact lenses since I was 16. Over the years, he has worked with me and improved my eyesight tremendously! It is comforting to know that in my senior years, I see better than I did in the 5th grade! He and his staff are caring, thorough and professional! I would highly recommend him!
Dr. Buck and his staff are exceptional. He has been seeing me on almost a daily basis for several weeks now. He is doing everything that he can to help restore my eyesight that I lost. They are caring, empathetic, professional, kind, and just wonderful human beings. I love everyone of them at this practice.
This place is ridiculous. Go somewhere else for months, they know your insurance is out of network with them and they call you a week or two week prior to the appointment. To let you know. The lack of communication is Ridonculous. Go somewhere else. Unprofessional with all that money, they're taking out the insurance and out-of-pocket the place needs to facelift badly some of the rooms. The smell is unpleasant..
My entire family has been going to Peninsula Eye Care for over 10 years, and we couldn't be happier! Dr. Buck is absolutely fantastic. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to answer questions and explain everything clearly. I personally see him for both contacts and glasses, and he's helped me keep my vision sharp, as much as possible, and comfortable over the years.
The office is always spotless and well-organized, which makes every visit feel comfortable and professional. The staff is just as great! Whether it's scheduling appointments, helping with eyewear selections, or answering questions, they always professional and willing.
I highly recommend Dr. Buck and the entire team at Peninsula Eye Care to anyone looking for exceptional eye care. They're the best!
Dr. Buck and his staff have been wonderful with assisting me back into contact lenses. Dr. Buck and his staff goes to great lengths to insure customer satisfaction and top quality products are available. I was given multiple choices for multi focal contact lenses. We found the most comfortable contacts I ever had. I'am Very happy with the service I received. Dr. Buck wanted me to be comfortable and seeing 20/20 again without glasses. Job well done! Peninsula eye care won me over once again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Peninsula Eye Care and Dr. Palmer! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for by the friendly and professional staff. The office is modern, clean, and well-organized, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish.
Dr. Palmer is truly exceptional. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but she also takes the time to explain everything in detail and answer all your questions. She genuinely cares about her patients and goes above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable and confident in your treatment plan.
What really impressed me was how much time the staff spent helping me find the perfect pair of glasses. They were patient and thoughtful, offering expert advice to make sure I chose a pair that fit my style, budget, and vision needs. They made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. On top of that, they handled all the insurance costs for me, which made everything so easy.
I left Peninsula Eye Care feeling like I had received the best care possible. Whether you need a routine eye exam, specialized treatment, or just expert advice, Dr. Palmer and her team are the ones to trust. I highly recommend Peninsula Eye Care to anyone looking for top-tier eye care with a personal touch!
I have been seen at this office for over 20 years since I was a child. I loved Dr Waldron. I think Dr. Buck is also great and have seen him many times. Unfortunately, we will NOT be back.
My daughter wants to try contacts. The earliest appt was 3 months away, so I scheduled for the first time with Dr. Overmeyer. She rushed my daughter through the exam and seemed frustrated that my daughter wasn't quick with her responses. Especially when she was going the "1 or 2, a or b" while flipping the options for her. My daughter needed this repeated a couple of times and it just didn't feel like this Dr understood she should have a little more patience with an 11 year old. This Dr then came into the room and spoke directly to my daughter about not having the daily's in her size and offered her the 30 days. My daughter knows nothing about that. I jumped in and said that's something I would need to decide with my daughter. She said she would order a sample in my daughter's prescription for us to come back and try. In the meantime, she had a pair that wasn't her prescription but said she could practice putting them in and out in their back room. We did this for about 10 min and it's her first time ever trying contacts, so she was struggling but remained confident she could do it. That was until Dr O came in and said "we only allot for 15 min or so for the practice...." So we had to leave. We got the call her trial ones were in so we just had our appt. Again, my daughter was patient with herself and trying very hard to get one in (I am a daily contact wearer, and the first time putting them in can be very hard and scary) but she wasn't giving up. Until Dr o came in again and kept asking my daughter if "she was done for today with trying" finally my daughter said yes. The nurse (who was wonderful and patient and I don't know her name) suggested that Dr. O help my daughter put the contacts in and she said "Nope the only way you are leaving here with those is if you put them in by yourself with no help"
I decided that's it. We've had enough. So I said ok are we able to take these trial ones home and practice at home?? She said no. I said ok well she's more comfortable at home than being here and the pressure of a time limit isn't helping. And she basically said yea well you can just come back.
I then requested we get the prescription she had before leaving and was told no. Mind you, I paid $98 the last time we were there for her exam. She said "you need to check out up front" and was very dismissive of me. At the front, they went back and spoke with her and came back saying they couldn't give me the prescription. I said listen, I already paid for this and I've been coming here 20 years. We won't be back, so can you please provide me the prescription and we will make an appt with another Dr and they will have the script to be able to have a starting point and hopefully help my daughter. They said no. What a shame. My entire family wears glasses and contacts and like I said we've been coming here for over 20 years. I don't appreciate being dismissed or being rushed and anyone making my daughter feel as though she isn't doing good.
Excellent experience! Dr. Buck is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Also very personable. I would like to add that Cortney is an absolute top notch technician. She is extremely knowledgeable of her work and has a lovely and professional attitude towards her clients.
