Walmart Vision & Glasses

The older gentleman was so rude to me and my son. I wanted the exact same pair as last year with everything the same. It was going to be an extra 100 dollars with the insurance from last year. I asked him if he could break it down for me and explain why and he said he couldn't do that. He said insurance just goes up. I said not 100 dollars more. Then I asked if I could get a copy of the pricing so I could call my insurance company to explain why it is that much of a difference. He said "nope" can't do that. As I'm sitting there listening to the gentleman next to us explaining insurance to the lady he was helping. Like come on buddy I'm not stupid. He was just being plain rude. He goes and I quote "so are we doing this today or not". I told him no I'm going to call my insurance first. He proceeded to throw some eye glass wipes on the desk toward my son to clean his glasses. We got up and left. I will never go back there unless he is no longer working there. Someone that rude should not be working in a retail environment and especially with customers using insurance if you don't want to explain everything. We ended up at target optical, we were there not even 30 minutes. Got my son a pair of glasses with everything from his old pair. The gentlemen explained all the pricing with insurance and was super friendly. Ended up paying so much cheaper than Walmart wanted. Our insurance did not go up the guy just doesn't know how to do his job.

We had an amazing experience! Lee was such a huge help. He did multiple searches to ensure my insurance would be accepted and was extremely patient and kind with my son who is on the spectrum and needed help with glasses. He was thorough, professional, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely ridiculous, my wife called the main number and was placed on automated telephonic "hold," for 5 minutes and finally hung up the phone. She was trying to see if the vision department was open. I looked up the direct number for this department and called in which I was also placed on hold 4 minutes when I hung up as well! Wal-Mart Yorktown this customer service is unacceptable! I am considering calling corp an reporting. The cash register lines are also ridiculously long and have minimal man power forcing you to use self checkout which I despise! This customer service is influencing me to shop with other businesses.

Great experience. Went and got my eyes checked on Saturday and ordered pair very helpful in deciding a pair. Corie was a great help!

I would definitely recommend using this vision center! The staff was soo nice, made me feel comfortable, and was very helpful!! I will definitely be returning in the future!

I love the optometrist here , both of my children and I see her! Also ordering glasses was easy as pie! My glasses came in 3 days!

Went on Sat and had great experience. Only issue is had to order contacts because they didn't have what I needed in stock.
