Dr Brown and her staff are always courteous and professional. I have every confidence in the care she gives me. I also receive the same treatment from Sam when I purchase new glasses from Island Eye.

I have been going to Island Eye for over 15 years and have had consistently good results. No long waits in the office and great eye care fron Dr. Ellis.

I transferred my care here from Bellingham, when I moved to San Juan Island. I am an Emergency Physician, and I have the utmost confidence in Dr Bergman, and his staff. I have found that they respond rapidly to calls for urgent care... and the front desk and phone staff have no idea that I am a physician. I have zero tolerance for incompetence and indifference, and I'd travel back to Bellingham if I didn't have confidence in Dr Bergman's care.

The doctor was great with my mother. However, one of the front desk staff and one in the back were both very rude when asked when my mother was going back in after having drops put into her eyes. We waited over a half hour before asking about it, and when we did, it was as if we weren't important because her surgery was a week old. If you have to come here, be aware that your time is not valuable to the office staff. But, the doctors are amazing. Maybe time for a rotation of staff.

I came here to get a check up since I recently moved to this area and it's really one of the only options near by. DRIVE the extra 30 minutes to Mount Vernon or Burlington. You will end up waiting because Dr. Brown takes forever! It's great she's so thorough but jeez lady, you're like two hours behind. The ferries cant wait for you. Plus I noticed a lot of staff will pass you for other people who had an appointment after you? If my appointment is at 1:30 why the heck are you calling back people with 2:00 appointments?? I was furious. I ended up going to Mount Vernon and waited about 20 minutes. Here you'll end up waiting 2 hours! Lame. Don't go here if you value your time.

WOW! Huge thank you to Dr. Bergman who today personally called me back and And apologized for the two days of confusion with being told from office manager, the person taking the exam, and the receptionist .... that Dr. Bergman did not have the PD measurement for my husband ! Had someone asked Dr. Bergman at the start if he had that information he would have told them yes ! After all this frustration he actually did have it and called me personally and gave it to me. With this doctors busy schedule, I think that is huge that he personally took the time to call me. Very much appreciated by me and my husband. After all this crazy frustration ... we would now definitely go back to Dr. Bergman because of the personal care he gave us In correcting our problem. Thank you Dr. Bergman and we very much appreciate your response and complete exam !!!!! Yes, we will see you again!

I received excellent care at Island Eye physicians. Dr. Ellis was able to diagnosis and begin immediate treatment, proving me with immediate relief due to an infection. I saw Dr. Brown on a follow-up . Both were very professional and compassionate and I believe they have a great team of assistants. I highly recommend island Eye Physicians.

Super unprofessional. I waited 6 months for this appointment. Sat in a room with my eyes dilated for an hour and 10 mintues and never saw a doctor. I couldn't sit there for another second I left. My life is way to busy to be blown off. I was told it would be 10 minutes and the doctor will be in. Can't support a facility that runs its business this way. Rude!!
