Dr. Chen is a very good doctor. He is patient, attentive and has the patient's interest at heart.

I got a cataract surgery in my both eyes last January 2024. The front desk said that they had talked to the insurance and everything was going to be cover. Now my insurance Regence Blue Shield denied my appeals and I have a huge bill for more than $25,000. The doctor's office recognize that they made a mistake but now they don't even answer our phone calls or text messages. I'm retired and now with a huge debt. THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO TREAT YOUR PATIENTS. You just wanted to make money but not even care at the end who is going to pay.

Dr. Chen is very patient and takes good care of his patients. His team is helpful and polite.

Doctor Chen is very skilled, capable and treated my husband's eye condition with care. Very thankful! The front desk/reception lady is so unprofessional and rude. She kept us waiting for 10 minutes at check in while chatting with her friend on the phone.

The staff at Dr. Chen's office including the front desk and support personnel were consistently rude, unprofessional, and disorganized. Based on the overall rating of 3.2, it's clear I'm not the only one who has had issues with how the office is run. That said, Dr. Chen himself is knowledgeable and capable. Unfortunately, the quality of care is overshadowed by the poor experience with his staff. He should seriously consider improving or replacing the front desk team, as their behavior is negatively affecting the office's credibility and driving patients away.

I don't know much about the doctor but their staff is not very good. Always saying "Can I put you on hold" as soon as the phone is picked up. And then long wait time. Simple schedule takes long time. I would not put patients call on that long time for hold. And the answering person is very passive and down when talking to patients
