After 28 years of wearing glasses, my dream of clear vision finally came true thanks to the amazing team at Forever You & Eye! When I decided to go for it, I had a consultation with Dr. Banitt's team. At my first visit, Dr. Yadav gave me a thorough exam and clearly explained my options. We decided on topography-guided/custom PRK. She was informative, straightforward, and fun--helping ease any nerves I had. At my second visit, Danielle and Re performed a more in-depth exam to finalize my prescription. They were both excellent and made the process easy and comfortable. Surgery day came, and I was excited. Dr. Banitt and his team greeted me warmly, took my vitals, and gave me a mild sedative to relax. The actual procedure took about 20 minutes and was surprisingly comfortable. Afterward, I received my eye care kit and was sent home feeling confident and cared for. With PRK, I noticed an almost immediate improvement. Recovery takes longer than LASIK, but aside from moderate discomfort in the first week, it was smooth. I stuck to my drop schedule and now, my vision is nearly perfect. The team has been great with follow-up and answering all my questions. I highly recommend refractive surgery--whether SMILE, LASIK, or PRK--at Forever You & Eye. Dr. Banitt and his team are truly professional, knowledgeable, and experienced.
