Lakemont Eye Care

I have been happy with Lakemont Eye care for 3 years but things have changed this year. On 12/1, I arrived on time for my 8:30am appointment. However, I was unexpectedly told that I needed to pay again for my contact lens prescription. While I was trying to understand the reason for this additional charge, a male employee, Eric, abruptly canceled my appointment, stating that I was "unhappy" and "argumentative." He also claimed I was late -- despite the fact that the entire delay was caused by my attempt to clarify the billing issue at the front desk. The following day, Manager Chris left me a voicemail stating that an eye exam is only valid for 3 months for a contact lens prescription. When I returned the call and explained that my contact lenses arrived two months after my initial exam, he then changed the validity to 6 months. This inconsistency is concerning and suggests that I was initially given inaccurate billing or policy information. Additionally, when I was encouraged to try contact lenses last year, I was told I could come for the contact lens training "at any time." I then learned that training is only offered between 8:00am and 10:00am when the doctor is available, which is very different from what I was told. Overall, this experience has been frustrating and unprofessional, and it falls far below the standard I expect from a healthcare provider. I would not recommend this clinic for anything beyond a basic eye exam.

I had a great experience at this eye clinic. The team was professional, efficient, and provided exceptional service. I didn't expect to receive such detailed and informative advice about eye care. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality eye care!

Scheduling an appointment was easy and everyone at the office was so nice. The doctor did a thorough exam and helped me understand my options for contacts. I was also able to order a really nice pair of glasses. They had a wonderful selection of frames.

Booking an appointment & submitting paperwork online were both very convenient. The staff were friendly, efficient, and I didn't feel rushed at all during my appointment. Dr. Mai was incredibly helpful and addressed all of my questions/concerns. She also gave me some suggestions for modifying my high prescription since I spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen. Overall, I couldn't have had a better experience with them. Will definitely be back!

Saw this eye place driving by all the time in Lakemont. As someone without insurance, this was the best place I've come across in Issaquah/ Redmond area since I moved here. I plan to have the rest of my family visit here and is now my go-to. Great doctor, detailed in explaining your results, and helpful to decide best eye products based on my daily habits and needs.

I had a great experience at Lakemont Eyecare. I went for a routine eye exam and new glasses. The office was clean and the staff was friendly and engaging. I didn't think I would be able to choose new frames with my 2 year old distracting me, but Chris was great at picking frames for me to try and keeping my daughter happy with toys and glasses for her to try on for fun. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend.

Every single person working in the office was so welcoming and helpful. They helped me update my prescription, find new glasses, and even fixed my old pair for me. Not very often that you walk out of any sort of doctors office feeling amazing but this was certainly one of those experiences for me. Five stars all around.
