Children's Eye Care

Our oldest son was referred to Dr. Epley before he was 1. Dr. Epley suggested glasses, followed by surgery, and both have helped his vision tremendously! At 4, he looks forward to going to the eye doctor, especially for the play center and occasionally to watch a movie! Dr. Epley has been nothing short of kind and patient with our family for the last three years as we better understand our son's vision needs. Our middle son recently got glasses at another clinic, but we are excited to have him going to see Dr. Epley beginning soon. The optical staff has always been helpful, even when busy. As long as Dr. Epley is at this clinic, we won't go elsewhere. We are fortunate to have found him and he provides sincere care!

I feel so lucky that we found this place! My daughter needed glassed at 9 months old, we went to 2 pediatric clinics before and while the rx was correct, office and doctor was very hard to work with, there was nothing "pediatric" about the visit, my daughter was in tears the whole time. We finally were able to get into Dr Epley schedule and it was night and day. Toys everywhere! Very friendly staff that knows how to work with little toddlers. My daughter never cried while there! In fact she loves to go for her visits. She is 3.5yo now and we could not be happier with Dr Epley and everyone who works there :)

My daughter has been with Dr. Epley since before she was a month old, where he performed cataract surgery to save her right eye. He has been her one and only eye doctor for nearly 13 years and is her favorite medical professional, excited for every visit. Dr. Epley has been a great person to work with and I trust nobody more with my daughters eye health!!

Dr.Epley has been my daughters eye doctor since she was 3 months old. She is 9 now and he has done a wonderful job these past 9 years. My daughter has needed a lot of correction on her eyes and Dr. Epley has been with us every step of the way. He is always so kind, informative and great with my daughter at every age and every stage. Can't thank him enough for the amazing care we have received throughout the years.

Dr. Epley and his team are exceptional at what they do. Dr. Epley is knowledgable with a lind and friendly bedside manner. I am confidenr that my child's vision has been in capable hands during our time visiting his office.

We first met Dr. Epley when he came to Swedish's NICU to give our daughter her first eye exam. So naturally, we would see him again for the six month check up! We were so glad we made the drive over. We were a little hesitant at first, but were quickly put completely at ease! Dr. E was patient and gentle with our daughter! As a parent, I feel those are the two top qualities needed to be a great doctor. Bedside manner is everything! Thank you! Patient waiting movie room was quaint and cozy, and bathroom was clean! We were in the Star Wars room which was a fun theme for us.

We had an appointment for my daughter with Dr. Epley. We arrived on time but ended up waiting about 30 minutes just to see the nurse, then did some basic checks and dilation, and waited another 45 minutes before finally seeing the doctor. When we did see Dr. Epley, he mentioned that my daughter was a little nearsighted. I had questions about what caused it, what it really means, and what treatment is best, but I left feeling more confused. The doctor presented three treatment options but did not recommend which one would be most appropriate for my child. I was also not told where I could get the prescribed medicine. Overall, the long wait times and lack of clear guidance left us frustrated. For a specialist visit, I expected more direction and support in understanding the diagnosis and next steps.
