I think this my second ever review, but I want to recommend Dr. Cusic and his staff for their help with my mom's current vision challenges. My mom is 90 years old, legally blind, and has macular degeneration.
Six weeks ago she saw Dr. Cusic and he was able to special order two pairs of glasses for her---one to assist with her reading capacity, and one to assist with her closer distance vision (of 12-15 feet).
After picking the glasses up this week, Mom has been able to watch television with visual clarity, at a comfortable distance, see who is speaking in front of her without blurred vision, and to read with her one "better" eye at normative reading font size.
Dr. Cusic is friendly, helpful, and very interested in supporting those with low vision challenges, and we are delighted with these new and helpful products. They are very expensive, but vision is a gift worth preserving whenever possible!

This place is a scam. I was seen for sclera lenses. The fitting of these is a process and requires a number of visits. From the not so friendly assistant to the doctor pressuring you to like the fit of the second trial (to avoid more work). That's just the start... they would space out my visits up to 7 weeks before I could be seen again. I ednded up getting a partial refund.
Stay away. These folks are not about you as a patient. They want to just get you out the door even if that means doing a poor job on you. This is all while paying PREMIUM PRICING. You might as well end up at Americas Best or Costco for the quality of work they provide. Stay away!

Apparently, only my children were insured for vision coverage, but despite giving them all my insurance info, this was not discovered until the moment I arrived. Mind you, we had discussed insurance several times prior to my arrival. When they had to reschedule me in Dec, they told me they'd just backdate it because my insurance would be expired by the rescheduled date. That should have been my first red flag because I've come to find out, that is not kosher. Their noninsured price was something like $230. The office manager wanted to offer me half off because of the snafu, but doc said no. So I left their empty office and made an appointment to see the amazing Dr. Sofi Alibhai at SpecialEyes Eyecare in the Redmond Costco. Total cost was $115.

We tried to renew a prescription for my wife just so she could get new glasses as hers was expired.
We made an appointment online and when she arrived they said they did not have an appointment for her, but somehow had her contact information.
She rescheduled for another appointment weeks later and was given a new prescription which hurt her head, so she asked to just get a prescription with her old numbers because this worked perfect and they said she would need a new exam despite the fact that they just did an exam and got it wrong. They sent her contacts in this new prescription but will not give her the actual prescription so she can buy glasses elsewhere.
The staff is rude on the phone and it's very hard to get them to respond to emails or answer the phone.
We are about 2 months out from the time she made an initial appointment and she still doesn't have a prescription that works for her.
