Just had my first eye exam here after moving to the area. Dr. Golitz and his staff (Rebecca and Jennifer) were professional and wonderful. They have a new digital refraction machine which allows performing a vision test without the doctor having to manually swap out lenses repeatedly. Dr. Golitz patiently explained the options available to me and their pros and cons (mono vision vs multi focal, for example). Rebecca helped to look up my insurance and explained the coverage fully. I asked for some documents via email afterwards and Jennifer responded quickly. Thank you!

Dr. Golitz went through a comprehensive eye exam before discussing my needs and explaining the pros & cons of rigid gas permeable lens compared to soft lens. It was exactly what I was looking for and the lens arrived in about a week. Dr. Golitz made some adjustments after a quick checkup and the RGP lens are a great fit! Dr. Golitz is very professional and kind, along with a great welcoming staff.

Was here 5 months ago to buy glasses for the very first time. Doctor did comprehensive vision check and prescribed the glasses. They have pretty good collection of frames, so I've picked one in place. New glasses were ready in a couple weeks. So far it feels great.

I am not sure how this shop gets a 5-star review. It is definitely not.
1st - the doctor is not professional at all. Our daughter's eyes got over corrected by the OrthK lens and we had to go back to re-measured and get a new pair of lens. We thought it is going to be fine the 2nd but it is not! We went back 3 or 4 times and it still doesn't work. During one of our visit, the doctor told us that it is perfect eye sights and then realized he had been measuring the wrong eye.
2nd - expensive shop as we are paying close to 1k for doctor readjusting the kens. Hey we are paying for someone else's lack of professional skills.
3rd - it is a very profit driven shop. They don't tell upfront the costs involved and like to surprise you in the end. In our last visit, we decided we have had enough with this shop and told them to not order new lens which they have not. Yet it took me a lot of efforts to get the refund back. I still have no idea if I am going to actually receive that refund.

This review is for Jenny, who is A-maaazing!! Her customer service while knowing we wouldn't be a customer in their own office was super appreciative & applauding! With someone as helpful & kind as her in the frontline at their office, I can only imagine their services as a whole.. :) After weeks of scrolling & calling the eye providers listed on our insurance network and being told they don't take our insurance, I came across this office while going further down the list. Jenny had answered & gave me the same response so again, I apologized & explained that everyone listed on the site had the exact same thing.. BUT she didn't hang up & explained that the insurance had split up the providers (mindblow #1), then she proceeded taking our info (mindblow #2), and she found a couple places who DID take our insurance (mindblow #3 & a huge melting heart of gratitude!!) all in just over 5 minutes. And just like that, my family's appointments were set up with the 1st provider she gave me within 10 minutes of hanging up with her & my distressed search is over! Thank you, Jenny!!
