Dr. Sohta is excellent. Very thorough, great communicator and pleasant. I've been going for at least three years and have been treated with excellent service each time. Highly recommend!!

KEEP LOOKING... I cannot recommend this place. The exams were good until we decided to order glasses. I asked for progressive bifocals with anti-reflective, and transitions lenses. The same type of lenses I have gotten for the past ~20 years. When receiving my glasses from Valerie I mentioned that they have a grayish yellow tint. I'm not a fan of this coloration on the lens as they create a raccoon eye affect. Additionally, I happened to drop the glasses on the floor (from waist height) and one of the lenses popped out. Seems like workmanship might have been an issue. She says she asked for the lab to redo the lens to correct the tint while reinserting the lens. Yet, when the glasses were returned, they still had the coloration added. I don't believe they changed the lens at all. And this is where I have a problem with customer service. When I pointed out that the problem persists I was dismissed and made to feel as if I created the issue and it is not their problem. I asked Valerie if she could just check with the lab and ask for their help in determining the problem. Her response was to yell at me that they have already sent the glasses back once and there is nothing else they can do. Now that I have used my insurance allowance with them I cannot order new lenses with another shop unless I pay out of pocket. Very disappointing. Two other areas of concern: 1. You need a separate appointment from your exam, in order to shop for glasses. The technician (Valerie) needs to unlock each pair of glasses from the case before you can try them on. 2. The parking situation in Chelsea village can be described as "difficult" at best. Paid parking requires that you sign up with personal information that is kept on file. All of this makes the entire experience less than desirable for a repeat. I cannot recommend this place.

Dr Sahota is always friendly, efficient and accurate. I've been a patient of hers for nearly 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else!

My rating is a combination of the service from the doctor (who is excellent) and the front desk staff (not so excellent). I had been coming here for several years for eye exams and hardware. My visits with Dr. Sahota were great, she was always thorough, informative, and just an all around a joy to work with. She's an amazing professional that I appreciate very much. However, it's a stark contrast between her and the front desk staff. In December of 2023, I had sent an email to make an appointment to look at hardware (they don't let you in the building without an appointment). I had had an exam only about a year before, so my prescription was still valid. They set up an appointment for me, then emailed me back a few minutes later and cancelled the appointment saying that I needed another exam and that my hardware allotment on my insurance needed to reset before they would even let me come in to look at glasses. Neither of those issues were valid. I called my insurance to confirm I had the hardware allotment, and informed them of my prescription from Dr. Sahota still being active, and they still refused to set up an appointment for me. I could have paid out of pocket and made a separate claim on my own with my insurance, but they clearly didn't want me in there. Whoever I was going back and forth with (they didn't sign the email) essentially refused to let me even come in and look at glasses for reasons I'm not sure of. The sudden change was strange and felt personal, even though I barely interacted with them and have been nothing but polite over the years. Never had any issues with the service or made any complaints. That's no way to treat someone who has spent literally thousands of dollars there on hardware over the years. It's a shame because the doctor is wonderful, but I can't patronize a business that literally won't let me in the door.

As a parent of a kid with a tough prescription, I was so happy to find this office. We've had issues getting the right contact prescription with multiple eye doctors, and Dr. Sahota-Gill took the time to listen to his whole eye history and alleviate our concerns. She is thorough and has a great exam style that even my teen appreciated. Looking forward to moving the whole family to this office for eye care.

One of the best eye exams I have ever had! My husband and I both loved Dr. Sahota. Scheduling was very easy and the appointment was so comfortable unlike a lot of first time visits with a new doctor. It felt like we had been patients for years. Dr. Sahota took time to answer all of our questions and give us reassurance about our ocular health. We look forward to being long time patients. Finally tracked down Dr. Sahota after she left my kids' eye clinic. I have not found a doctor I trust as much as I do Dr. Sahota. Dr. Sahota is straight forward, listens and treats according to my needs. I'm transferring my whole family back to her. My kids are now adults

I needed to update my lens prescription due to worsening eyesight and headaches and I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Sahota. She was very thorough and knowledgeable and because of her actually caring about my eyesight I was able to get the proper lenses I needed (vs a chain where I got lenses that were actually opposite the type I needed and made my eyes worse!). She was kind and relatable and made me feel comfortable. The other staff were very friendly as well, and nobody was pushy about services/frames. I ended up getting my frames here as well and they came in exactly on time. I'm very happy with the experience and I love my new glasses!
