Kirkland Family Eye Care

Our family insurance plan has changed and that resulted in need to search for a new provider. In this review I would like to specifically mention the ease of booking the appointment and the professional attitude of the lady who answered my call. I tend to ask a lot of questions and I was very grateful to have all the answers delivered with a very pleasant and encouraging attitude.

The amount of things wrong with this establishment is ridiculously high. I had forgotten about my experience but was recently reminded when I went to get my eye exam at Optik vision center. The level of medical care here is poor, the hygiene seems to be poor, and even the choice of staff is poor. Truly, how can you mess up this bad? You have the holy trinity of bad business... maybe try to fix at least one aspect? Seriously, you're better off at LensCrafters or something. Don't come here. The positive reviews are either someone they begged to write a good review, or some oblivious person who didn't know any better.

Editing my review, because all I did was leave a bad review for an experience i had here, and the woman who i believe is the office manager began to stalk me and harass me across all my social media, using racial slurs and stereotypes against me. She is a bigoted racist and is very unpleasant and scary to interact with. If I were her employer or coworker I would be horrified to discover this sort of behavior.

Know her 12 years plus and extremely friendly staff and always a great experience every time I vist.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Lee this week and had a great experience. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming (very easy to schedule), the office was nice and clean, and Dr. Lee was professional, quick and funny. They had a good variety of frames but I wanted to shop around before deciding. I'll definitely keep coming!

I had been going to Dr. Lee's office since I was around 10 years old. She's always wonderful to work with and her office staff are incredibly polite and kind! However, my glasses prescriptions she gave me for the past 4 years felt so incorrect that I couldn't wear them. Dr. Lee said it was the quality of the lenses and that I should order directly from their office. Being the only optometrist I'd ever gone to, I believed her, so I ordered glasses directly from her and the glasses still didn't seem right. So I went to LensCrafters for an eye exam and learned that my prescription from Dr. Lee was 1.5 diopters too weak, I had an astigmatism in both eyes, and I had retinal holes and retinal degeneration that Dr. Lee never caught. I'll be having laser eye surgery in the near future to prevent retinal detachment. If I hadn't gone to LensCrafters, I wouldn't have known I was even at risk of retinal detachment. Dr. Lee and her staff are wonderful people, but I'd definitely recommend going elsewhere for high quality eye care.

My family and I have been using Kirkland Family Eyecare for over 10 years and I have nothing but praise for the staff and Dr. Lee. They are always cheerful, helpful and only concerned with you having the best vision (and best looking) vision possible.

Always helpful when I call in. Very accommodating schedules as well. Takes VSP insurance that I pay for through my work and now matches Costco pricing on my contacts.
