I've been coming to Kirkland Vision Center for years and have always had a great experience. Scheduling, paperwork, and check-in are incredibly easy and seamless. The entire team is friendly, helpful, and truly professional.
Dr. Lim is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in detail, which I really appreciate. He's also genuinely funny and entertaining, so appointments are filled with laughter, not something you expect at an eye exam!
If you're looking for a practice with up-to-date technology, expert care, and a fun, welcoming environment, Dr. Lim and his team are absolutely the way to go. It's rare to rave about an eye doctor, which says everything about how great he really is.

Very disappointed. My whole family has been visiting this place, but after this experience, we won't be returning.
Not a good experience at all. I was unhappy with my new glasses because my vision felt distorted and uncomfortable. Instead of offering a simple recheck, I was told I'd have to use my yearly insurance-covered visit just to address the issue. That's very unfair and poor customer service. Definitely not satisfied and would not recommend.

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I came in for my yearly eye exam, but the prescription I received was completely inaccurate. When I called to explain that my new glasses weren't working, the staff offered no accountability. Instead, they told me I would have to use my annual insurance benefit just to have the result corrected. I will not be returning.

First they take your medical insurance information saying they take it just in case they provide medical service. Then they charge your medical insurance just for looking at your retina image. However, they disclose that the medical insurance will be charged only after the retina image is taken and looked at. When you tell them that they should have disclosed the retina imaging will require charging medical insurance, they get offended saying they were transparent with you. They think transparency means that they told you your medical insurance will be charged after imaging has been already done. Very interesting perspective at transparency of services rendered.

Dr Lim is the first eye Dr to get my eye prescription dialed in! I also had some concerning eye symptoms and Dr Lim gave me concrete answers! Highly competent Dr with a great supporting staff!

The staff are nice people, but they are so incompetent. I had my first eye exam with Dr. Lim on June 3rd and bought 2 pairs of glasses. I was told they would be ready in 2 weeks. Their price is premium and I thought I'm gonna get a good experience... but NO! On week 2, I received one pair and the prescription was not correct, so I got a new eye exam scheduled on June 16th, after that I waited 1 month and my sunglasses is still not ready on July 15th. Their lab keep saying "it's almost done" with different explanations. I've never waited this long for normal prescription glasses. I would get better experience at Costco / Walmart. The pair I've received also look cheap (walmart / costco quality). In general, it's my worst glasses buying experience ever and I do not recommend to get glasses from Kirkland Vision Center / Kirkland Optix. Very nice people working at the store, but they can't get their things together and their lab is beyond terrible (Walman Optical in Kent).

This office is great! Love the staff and Doctor. I saw Karmina and Dr. Lim. Very kind, professional and efficient. They provide a wide selection of contacts to try from and a wide selection of glasses! They make the process so easy and quick, especially with the online forms I can do before coming in! Rosie was a great help with the contacts and the cost. Katie and Taryn were fantastic with helping me pick a pair of glasses too! Highly recommend this clinic!

The last few years I have been to 2 different eye doctors and each one kept telling me I needed separate glasses to be able to read because they didn't make contact prescriptions to help someone that was both near sighted and far sighted. I kept hearing this was just the side effect of getting older. Until I went to Dr Lim, he was fantastic. The appointment was easy and BEST of all I can now see both near and far with my contacts! Every time I pickup a book to read and realize I don't need my reading glasses anymore, I think of Dr Lim and thank him. So thankful to him for helping me see clearly again!
