Vision Plus in Marysville - Dr. Jake D. Kent, O.D.

Came to this location for my first vision exam since moving to Marysville last year. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. All my questions were answered by the staff. Not having my eyes dilated due to their machine was an added bonus! I came back a few days later to really take my time to find a new pair of glasses. HUGE shoutout to Geo for making this second visit the most enjoyable experience in choosing a new frame. She was knowledgeable about what frames suited my facial features and patient with my indecision of color choices. I'm really happy with my choice of frames because of her!

I have been a client for years at this clinic. Came in today to get a new pair of glasses and was told that I can't get them without an eye exam. The front desk told me it is the law. When asked for the RCW they gave me the one for CONTACTS and I don't have contacts just regular glasses. I have added a photo of the law for contacts not glasses below that I was given when I asked for the law on glasses. I was treated like I was stupid.

The ladies behind the desk were super sweet and helped me and another client get glasses with a breeze! They walked me through how the process would go and once we decided on our frames we could expect them within a couple of weeks. I was in there for about 15 minutes! I definitely recommend going here for great quality frames (if youre struggling with deciding between a couple of frames they'll help you out with that too)

Good doctors terrible customer service, I was told the day of my appointment that it would take two three weeks to get my glasses, it's now two weeks late I've heard nothing so I call to ask only to find out I have to wait six to eight weeks for my glasses, I tried to explain that I was told tow to three weeks and they just didn't care at all

They are all so nice and fast here. I arrive about 5 mins prior to my appointment and have never even sat in the lobby, they always bring me right back. Not only are the general staff nice, but the optometrist is friendly too. He explains things, and I don't feel rushed out the door. Overall a great experience every time!

Finally found an office that works with my VSP! Super friendly customer service and a great selection of frames. I was excited to have found the same Oakley frames that I wanted online, but in their store! Ordered both eyeglasses and sunglasses and it was such a breeze! Dr. Jake was very helpful and took any nervousness right out of the examination. Thank you for a great experience!

Great staff, kind and informative Doctor, and I was really happy with my contacts fitting (I've struggled with this before). Would recommend.

I saw a provider here in Dec 2020. I was very excited to be continuing in her care. I called last month and got an appointment for today. They only had a 3 week lead time for appointments. I showed up today and my provider no longer works there. I didn't know this when I called them. I did ask them for me to see the same provider as the year before. I showed up today to find out there's only one provider at this office and it's male. My previous provider was female. When I asked who I was seeing I was told the only provider... I asked what they thought I meant when I asked for the same provider as last year. I got no response. No one would make eye contact. No one including the provider who was in the lobby didn't show any remorse or apologize for the situation. They provided me with the new phone number for the provider I saw last year. It's important for me to have continuity of care. This office has no care to who I saw or why. I have some extra needs when it comes to my health care and seeing the same provider is important. Not everyone know how OI or POTS effects the eyes. I would have done more homework if they were honest about who I would be seeing and why, when I asked to see the same provider as last year. Also the provider was discussing private health information with a client in the lobby. HIPPA?
