The doctor here was great! However, I feel I got the runaround by one of the front desk gals today.
I had my eye exam here back in April 2022 and since I'm needing to order some more contacts I realized that my prescriptions from here (one for glasses and one for contacts) both expired in April 2023. Another vision place was able to get me in sooner so I took my prescription from the Moses Lake Vision Center (MLVC) with me to my appointment at this other place. This other optometrist pointed out that vision prescriptions are good for two years in Washington state, so he advised me to check in with Moses Lake Vision Center because it appeared they made a mistake by having my prescriptions expiring only after one year. I went to MLVC today and asked if they could fix my prescription dates to reflect that they should expire in April 2024 instead. The gal who currently (5/25/23) has purple hair informed me that she would only change the glasses prescription because only glasses prescriptions are good for two years and contacts are only for one year.
Luckily, I had my husband's prescriptions and shared with her that my husband's contacts prescription (also from MLVC) showed his was good for two years. Then she let me know that mine expired after a year because my contacts prescription must have changed too much. I was really not trying to be difficult, but since I also had an old contact prescription of mine from 2018, I shared that the script was the same.
Anyway, she reluctantly fixed the error in the dates for both my prescriptions, threw away my old ones, (then forged the doctor's signature on the ones she updated), so I appreciate the updated date. I just got a shady vibe from her during that whole ordeal (the other two front desk gals offered no input during the whole conversation they just witnessed) and despite the great doctor, I don't think I want to go back there.

Absolutely AWFUL experience. Do NOT go here. I've been with the Moses Lake Walmart vision center for all my life until they had some issues and I needed to find a new place. I went here and already got dodgy vibes. I was 20 years of age at the time, and these people couldn't help but be disrespectful and treat me like I hadn't even graduated from elementary school. The front desk lady was horrible with her tone towards me, and the doctor didn't even seem to know what he was doing. He was putting random eye drops into my eyes without even telling me what they were, doing exams to check my eyes that I've never had done before that weren't necessary at all that were also painful and extremely uncomfortable that left me struggling to see comfortably for the rest of the day. On top of all of that, they got my prescription wrong, AND somehow made a mistake so the center of the lenses were blurry, leaving me to lean sideways if I wanted to see anything actually clear. Once they put my lenses in my frames, they were crooked beyond belief and wouldn't even fit on my head. I asked them to fix them, and when they came back, they had a crack down the bridge of my frames. I once again asked them if they would order me new frames because THEY cracked them, but they just insisted they would be fine and wouldn't break. Shockingly, (not) they snapped clean in half, not even 2 months later. The small amount of time I actually had them, they were worse than my old glasses and gave me CONSTANT migraines to use. And im someone who literally cannot live without my glasses. DO NOT GO HERE. They do not care about you in the slightest. They wanted my money and me out of their clinic as quickly as possible.
My experience here was top notch. From the first phone call to the delivery of my glasses. The girls at the front desk are attentive and friendly. Dr Sieler is professional and caring. Glasses were delivered in a timely manner and adjusted to fit well. I would 100% recommend. Thank you Moses Lake Vision Center. I can see clearly now...
I have had issues with my glasses, half the time I don't even wear them because my vision has changed. Back in February or March I called to make an appointment, so let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say March, and they scheduled me for July 8th. I was taken back that the appointment was so far out, but I provided my insurance info and patiently waited. This morning I arrive on July 8th for my appointment and they inform me that, as of July 1, they don't take my insurance anymore. No call, I provided my insurance and they verified it when I made the appointment those months ago, just told me in person after I waited months for the appointment. Now I have to start over and find another provider, hopefully I don't have to wait months to get in there... I held my tongue and just walked out. I was very aggravated that I have waited so long for my appointment to be told "oh, by the way...." In such a flippant manor.
I don't care what insurance I have on the future. I will drive to Spokane before I attempted to make an appointment here again.
Getting eye care in Moses lake has always left me frustrated but everyone claims to have compassion for their patients.
Sure don't feel like too concerning to me. If you do t have top notch insurance you're pretty much screwed!
Very disappointed in ml vision center. About 9 weeks ago placed an order for glasses for my daughter we were told it would take about 5 weeks to get the glasses in, 5 weeks rolled around and after being told the shipments come in on Tuesday started calling every Tuesday to see(was informed that if my daughter doesn't get glasses as soon as possible she could end up going blind) and every single time I call I get a rude response from the ladies who answer. I feel a lot of frustration knowing how important it is that my daughter get her glasses in so hopefully her vision improves and getting rude responses and hard to work with people. Don't waste your time or money going here!
I have lately paid for an frame replacement for some lenses.
But these people sold me frames and replaced my lenses that were double the size that I brought in.
On top of that the lenses stick outside of the frames thatI had no choice in choosing.
I highly do not recommend going to moses lake vision center I went for my yearly exam, and the doctor prescribed me the wrong prescription for my eyes. I could not see out of them
Wore them for a week and felt so sick every day I did not adjust to them I went back, and he said he will just put them back to my prescriptions that I was wearing previously went back to pick up my new frames with my previously prescription, and I still cannot see out them clearly I was treated rudely by the ladies upfront also from the doctor they refunded me and told me I was not welcome there or my children! I truly honestly believe that the doctor is not capable of doing his job anymore !! and it takes forever for you to receive your glasses when you pay in advance for !!! Also I asked for my medical records and my children and I was denied by the ladies at front.
