Top professional experience! From the moment you step into the clean and pleasant facility you are acknowledged with a smile and explanation of the next steps. Assistants are well versed on procedures and the variety of techniques and skills to obtain the best results from the myriad of optical machines and tools. Important medical histories are reviewed and the optometrist has the pertinent information at hand and can proceed with the eye exam. Proficient, efficient, caring and nurturing Dr. Thompson's expertise resulted in the best correction prescription. The in-house optical staff excels with fittings/comfort of the new frames and together- correction and frame- have totally enriched my visual experience.

Awesome patient service! I really appreciate the tech that did the eye exam before Dr. Liz Heaston-Thompson, very proficient. Also, the checkout was easy and the products displayed at reasonable prices. The Optase eye drops already have made my eyes feel so much better...

The technician was excellent in both bedside manner and her explanations of the procedures we were doing. Dr Liz is always professional but friendly and does very well at showing and explaining the results of tests and her recommendations. I'm very confident in her treatment.

Dr. Liz is the best in the biz! So thorough and clear! She sees our whole family (puns intended). Headton & Thompson also provides follow up referrals for vision therapy just across their parking lot at the Vision Institute. So thankful for these convenient and expert resources. The 10 month wait for before school appointments for my son's vision therapy was well worth it.

Terrible. I was visiting from out of town and, after doing my research, thought this vision clinic would be a good fit. I stopped in to try to schedule an appointment since I happened to be nearby. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk was very disappointing. The front desk staff member was immediately dismissive and did not appear interested in scheduling an appointment. I was told, without any attempt to check the schedule, that appointments wouldn't be available until late March or April. I explained that timing was fine. When asked about my insurance (United Healthcare), she stated (again without looking at the computer) that it would only cover the exam and that I would need to pay out of pocket for glasses and any additional diagnostics. I stated that paying out of pocket was not an issue. For me, investing in my health and vision is a priority. However, this continued to be emphasized repeatedly, making it feel as though there was little intention to move forward with booking. At no point did she check availability on the computer. Instead, the conversation focused repeatedly on out-of-pocket costs, creating unnecessary obstacles to scheduling. Mrs. Grinch demonstrated no interest in scheduling me. No problem, I'll look elsewhere Happy Holidays!

Front office staff and the assistant who lead me through the majority of my eye exams were excellent! Dr Liz Thompson did a portion of my exam and dilated my eyes. She was also great. I cannot say the same about Dr Plesha. He was rude, made me feel like it was my fault he did not get to examine my eyes before I was dilated, could not thoughtfully discuss my issue, then gave a snide remark when I asked how often I should have my eyes checked for routine screening...you're the physician and should be able to advise patients better than this! 2 stars because of his behavior. If returning to their care I will be seeing Dr Liz

Arrived for my scheduled appointment and got in for my eye examination within 15 minutes. Staff was extremely friendly sociable and thorough. After my exam and discussion with the eye doctor I was able to choose new glasses. Placed my order was told when they would be in and heading home within the hour from my appt time. I highly recommend Heaston Vision Clinic and have been going there for many years and have no complaints whatsoever!

The office was clean & everyone was very nice & did an awesome job! They were very thorough & had advanced technology to get specific diagnosis. I was very impressed!
