SODO Vision Care

I needed a same-day appointment and SVC made it super simple to set it online and complete all intake paperwork ahead of time. When I arrived (inside 4th Ave Costco, membership not required for eye exams), everyone I encountered was pleasant and wore a smile. My exam was on-time and efficient, Dr. Long was patient as I determined which screen was clearer and answered all my questions-- My complete visit was 30 minutes or less. Would definitely recommend. You Should Know: They do not sell frames. Your prescription will have to be filled elsewhere. (Costco Optical is just outside their offices, but you have to be a member to purchase and the selection is pretty basic)

once you get past the annoying self serve online docs that you fill out before every appt the appt itself is seamless. I've been going to Sodo vision for at least 15 years, various Drs have owned and worked there, no complaints with any of them. I am a low maintenance non special eye case, not sure how it would be if you had a specialized need.

I had a scheduled appointment and missed it due to work and many errands. I was able to make the next appointment. You were able to wave my no show appointment fee. Easy online scheduling. Once in the clinic the staff is friendly and efficient. I had a thorough exam in 20 mins. No insurance so the glasses price was $110 plus an eye health exam of $30. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Had an awesome experience here! especially for my first time getting an eye exam. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Dr.Kim helped me out with the eye testing and also told me that my eyes were in good health, which was very cool. Overall, definitely recommend this place if you're looking to get glasses

The best vision check-up visit ever! Destiny McCoy was my O.D. and was fabulous. My previous eye checkup (at a DIFFERENT clinic) was terrible - the O.D. insulted me, and tried to shame and frighten me. The visit at SODO Vision Care could not have been more opposite: I felt heard, respected, relaxed, and left w/ a prescription I feel great about. I highly recommend!
