The Doctors Clinic: Eye Care

Came in and saw Michelle and Dr Keren Yang today. Not sure why the reviews are terrible here because it's wonderful! The staff is very personable, helpful and all around pleasant. Even the front desk attendants were lovely, struck up a nice conversation with a girl at the desk (wish I remembered her name) about tattoos and where to go/recommendations. Dr Yang and Michelle gladly answered any questions I had. Thank you so much and great job everyone!

I have called to make an appointment three times as a new patient. I have left messages each time. I also called several times during the day to try to get someone and it always went to voicemail. Not once did I ever receive a call back, even when the message I left was. This is my second call and I have not yet received a message and on the final one last week I said this was my third message and I really appreciate a call back. I've heard absolutely nothing. If this is how they do business, I do not trust the doctors to provide good service.

Professional and timely eye care. The phone system for the Doctor's Clinic is a bit of a mess, and there seems to be a bit of a staffing shortage, but wait times were not bad. The eye exam was done professionally and Dr. Yang heard my concerns then gave me a wealth of information about products as well as at home treatment options.

The nurse was great - nice, attentive, helpful. Then I saw Dr. Yang and felt disrespected and ignored. After briefly looking at my eyes, she began to leave the room without allowing me to ask questions. I asked her a question as she was walking out and instead of stopping to listen to me, she scoffed at my legitimate question as if I was being ridiculous or was a hypochondriac (I haven't been to an eye doctor since 2009 so that certainly isn't the case). Instead of answering my question she told me she looked at my eyes and they are fine, all while continuing to leave the room so I had to follow her out. She then quickly asked an unrelated question to keep me from asking further questions. I should have stood up for myself but I was so thrown off by her rude attitude and the fact that she was leaving the room while I was still trying to get answers for my unexplained eye pain. I want to go elsewhere for another opinion, but I just got a bill for over $250 for that joke of an eye exam and can't afford to pay that again (even with insurance). I would not recommend going here if you will be seeing Dr. Yang.

I saw Dr. Kurt Klussmann 3 weeks ago on April 5. He examined my eyes and said that I did indeed need cataract surgery. I was told before leaving his office that they would call me the following day to schedule the surgery. I never heard from them. So I called back on the 7th. I was then told that they would call me on the 13th. I never heard from them. So I called back AGAIN on the 14th. I was then told that I would hear from them by the end of the day on the 15th. I still have NOT heard 1 word from them. So now it is time for me to look for a different eye surgeon.

My husband came in and was told he was a lost cause. He was also told he possibly wouldn't be able to afford the specialist he needed. We have since found a doctor who can do their job and help him with his eye sight. He has 20/15 vision now and can legally drive. Dont go here if you want help.
