We have been going to Dr. Adkins for over 10 years. We have never had a bad experience. Office is very clean and pleasant. The techs are friendly, helpful, and go to great lengths to make the process easy. Wait time is always minimal. My five year old is very nervous about any kind of doctor, but Dr. Adkins and the staff made his exam into a game, and with a little patience, he relaxed and now can't wait to go back for his next exam so he can "level up" and score more points! The selection of frames is wonderful, and the staff go to great lengths to make sure everything is exactly how you want it, and are always willing to adjust your glasses, or fix a problem. Both Dr. Michael Adkins and Dr. Monique Adkins are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. They take time to answer questions and go over any concerns. My family and I are in very capable hands at Ferrell Eye Clinic. We highly recommend them!

When I called I was able to get an exam appointment for the next day and my glasses got here quickly, even in the middle of the holiday season! The doctor and his staff were all wonderful and personable! I haven't worn glasses in years and I was amazed with how fast I adjusted! Great experience!

I was so disappointed today. I took my 3 year old to get her eyes checked because she often says her eyes hurt. We waited 45 minutes till they could see us. The nurses were great, but the Dr seemed very impatient. it was almost closing time and I understand that you want to get home, but she's 3 years old and was scared. I was hoping for more patience and understanding. I ended up holding her arms while he tried to force her eyes open to look at them. obviously that didn't work. yes, I know she was hard to deal with, but she was so scared. It was traumatizing for both of us, and she had a rough time getting over it tonight. oh and they charged us $127 (we don't have vision insurance) and we didn't even get a proper diagnosis. We forgive you but don't recommend Dr Adkins for children and definitely won't be back.

Scheduled 2 new patient appointments several months in advance for my spouse and myself. I gave them the vision insurance information and they said it was accepted and they could bill it. Then the Friday before our Monday appointments they call and let me know they are having trouble confirming our insurance- turns out they had written down we had a different vision insurance when I had scheduled and the insurance I had given before was not accepted and could not be billed. I rated them 2 stars because they at least notified me of the issue before we went in for our appointments. Although we still had to wait many months for these appointments to be canceled.

Thank you for letting in today after I called and wanting to redo my eye exam. Very friendly and understanding staff. I know I gave them extra work to do but they still take me in. I really appreciate it.

Really great staff and doc! Comfortable atmosphere. He tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. As it should be. Highly recommend them.

Went to clinic for blurry vision in my right eye. I was told i had severe chronic dry eye. They put me on steroids and after no change in wo weeks I went back for a follow up. They then offered a procedure not covered by insurance for dry eye. Would have cost me $600 out of pocket. I declined and went to get a second opinion as my eye was giving me headaches. Come to find out i dont have chronic dry eye my vision had changed in my right eye! So had i done what i was told id be out $600 and stll have a bad eye. Instead for $50 i will be getting new glasses. Was told the reason insurance doesn't cover the procedure is its s gimmick that doesn't work. Its just used to make money! So beware your not just being used to pad someone's bottom line.
