Dr. O'Carroll and her team have been providing our family with trusted eye care for many years. We feel welcomed and respected each time we walk through the doors. They're thorough, professional, friendly, and experienced. They go above and beyond in all aspects of our eye care.

I seldom write reviews, but it had been about a decade since my last eye check (very stupid of me), and I wanted to share that, if you are like me, the people here make it very easy to get a check-up, and the prices are reasonable. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, skilled, and seem to be genuine in their care for patients. I'm even going to go back to get a pair of glasses vs just getting a cheap pair online, but I could still do that as well for a backup pair because they printed off my prescription for me, unprompted. Some places I've been to in the past hold onto that information like they work at the Pentagon.

After moving to the area ten years ago I was giving up hope to find a competent and compassionate eye Dr. that really listens to you, until I met Dr. Optometrist Siobhan O'Carroll, OD. She and her Team are so much more than selling a pair of glasses. They take their time with you and compassionately help you decide what works best for you. I have never loved my glasses until now and I love these groups of professionals even more! If something is wrong they make it right. Thank you my eye care family!

My exam was professional with Corona protocols that made me feel comfortable. Dr. Beeksma and her staff are great! I love the new shop. The selections of eye glasses is great! Wonderful styles to choose that until now you could only find in larger cities. Glad to have Espy Specs in Eau Claire!

The staff at Espy are wonderful!! Rebecca helped me to select glasses that were perfect for me and my needs. She was very informative, asked questions to ensure that i got the lenses for my needs. She marked the lenses and then another staff double checked the measurements. I recently picked up my new glasses. Pa fit them for me and made sure I knew to come back should I need anything. Rebecca called me the next day to make sure I was happy with the glasses and they worked for my needs. I love them!!!

Excellent eye care! The entire staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and very nice! Dr Beeksma is hands down the most thorough eye doctor that I have seen. She explained the details of my eye concerns in very understandable language. We discussed various solutions and choose the best path. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Siobhan is really fantastic, and my partner and I saw her at the previous clinic before it burned down. We were excited to switch back to her when she was re-established. Unfortunately, the staff who helped us with our eye exam was incredibly rude and made some snarky remark when I forgot my glasses. Was not friendly at all the entire time. I thought it was just me, but my partner commented on this too after we left. This staff member also violated HIPAA. I do not share specific details regarding my eye disease with my partner because it worries them, and after we were both seen separately and waiting for our Rx in the lobby, my partner shared that this staff had told them about my eye condition and how it is worsening. This is a complete violation of HIPAA, and they had absolutely no business sharing this information with my partner. The only reason I'm giving Espy Specs two stars is because we really did like Dr. Siobhan and have followed her for some time now. We will be finding a new clinic moving forward though.
