Hubbell Eye Clinic

I have bad eyes. And I mean bad. I have been wearing glasses or contacts since the 4th grade and every year they get progressively worse. I just accepted it and continued going to the big box/revolving door eye clinics figuring, "what difference, my eyes will be bad no matter what, why pay a bit more for the same results?" Boy was I wrong. Not only did Dr. Hubbell find issues never spoken of before with my eyes that were totally treatable, he also demonstrated that the same old contacts I'd been getting, and frankly found doable for years were mediocre at best for my vision and certainly not the ones I shoukd be wearing. Dr Hubbell is thorough and kind. I also liked how he was very honest and to the point, "Your eyes are bad. Knowing how bad can help you adjust and with help actually have better than 20/20 vision." Ginger at the front desk is great as well. She will help with honest opinions whiles trying on glasses to make sure you're looking your best. Plus, she takes the time to get to know you, calling you by name in no time making you feel like you matter. I have found the eye Dr I will stick with. No more revolving door eye clinics.

I picked up a pair of glasses a few years ago. There was an older lady at the front. During my pick up, I had asked her a few questions about glasses, costs, and different styles of frames as I might want to buy different ones in the future (She didn't show me anything). She was very reluctant to assist me and did not show me any options. She had a snarky and condescending attitude the whole time. I didn't like how she was speaking to me but I shrugged it off at the time. My mother a few months later also picked up glasses from this location and told me about her experience to which I said, it was probably the same lady. As I am visiting town, I am reminded of this horrible experience and hope she is not working there anymore. Dr. H, I hope she has retired, and learns how to respect all forms of customers, no matter the time of day or the number of customers in your clinic at one time.

I love Dr. Hubbell and his staff! I had so much trouble with getting my prescription right until I switched to Hubbell Eye Clinic. It's been spot on ever since. I love the personalized care I get there unlike the chain optical places. They know who I am and make me feel like my business is truly appreciated there!

Dr. Hubbell is fantastic! He was my optometrist when I was a child and I was so happy to return to him when I moved back to the area a few years ago. His attention to detail and making sure I get precisely what I need is remarkable. Beyond that, he is warm and friendly. Seriously, who's optometrist greets them with a hug and remembers their job and family members? Dr. Hubbell truly goes above and beyond.

I've been going to Hubbell for years. They have always been very pleasant and very professional. My wife and I actually enjoy our eye appointments here.

I've been going to Hubbell Eye Clinic for 10+ years now and Chris is an excellent Dr and his staff is very helpful. They all do a great job and try everything to be available if you need an appointment with short notice.

I didn't even want to give them 1 star, but you have to, to even write a review... they need a new receptionist end of story. She is very rude and not helpful. This does not make me want to ever call or come back in.
