The front desk staff greeted me with a smile and made check-in easy. The eye exam itself was incredibly thorough. Dr. Amanda Cheek is so friendly, extremely kind- she took her time to explain every step, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt completely comfortable. It didn't feel rushed or clinical--more like a conversation with someone who genuinely cared about my eye health. I highly recommend this place to anyone (super kid friendly, too) looking for top-notch care and a positive, stress-free experience!

Fantastic service and friendly staff. The Wife and I recently visited for our annual eye exams and picked out new frames. From the initial phone call to set up the appointment all the way to the final checkout, the staff were warm, incredibly friendly, and super accommodating. The office was also very clean and the staff were diligent in making sure counters and frames were wiped down after each use. They even had our information ready for us as soon as we walked in for our appointment. It was quite possibly the best experience we've ever had at an optical office. I've never had an easier time getting frames and checking out. This office is almost 30 minutes away from where we live but we'd gladly drive an hour just for the amazing service alone. Rock River Optical is proof that it's not "what" you do for the customer but "how". The experience will always be what drives return customers and Rock River Optical nailed it!

Unfortunately, I have to change our 5 star review to a 1 star review. My diabetic husband has been waiting months for his trials and to be able to confirm his script. We gave ourselves plenty of time to get contacts before we were out, but he's been waiting since June 20th and is still empty handed. He was told multiple times the contacts would be in, then they are lost, now they're reordering. Twice this week his was told he would get called back. Never happened. We have had zero communication and now we've used our eye exam on a place that has not delivered. It's really disappointing because my husband is wearing a pair of contacts that are months old with no way to get new ones because they wont call us back. We have no options except pay for a new exam out of pocket. Eventually the only pair he has won't be able to be used and then what? Dr. Cheek is great eye doctor. My whole family loved her and even followed her from Walmart, but her staff is doing her a huge disservice by treating patients like this.

Needed new glasses and sun glasses a year ago and decided to check them out. The selection was very good and the personal service was great. Fast forward to this summer. I lost my regular glasses. Called Izzy and she got me taken care of right away. Very highly recommend for glasses

Dr Cheek is wonderful, thorough and proactive. She has helped me with my vision in many ways, including getting me to an Ophthalmologist when needed. Also, I love her glasses selection and interest in making sure I get the best corrected vision possible. Her staff is amazing as well. Thanks for all you do!

From the first call I had a feeling I was going to have a great experience at Rock River Optical and I sure did. Dr. Amanda Cheek was extremely thorough and addressed all of my concerns. Kirsten listened to all my preferences for frames and helped me choose exactly what I was looking for. The other staff were very kind, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Great experience coming from someone with no vision insurance. Dr. Foley did a great job with my new prescription. Kirsten and Taylor are accommodating and friendly. I'm loving my glasses too. Nice selection of frames. Thank you Rock River Optical!

Best optical office in Fort Atkinson! I have used other places over the years and no one has a more friendly atmosphere. Very timely and organized! They had my insurance information already printed out and knew exactly how to navigate through it to ensue that I knew what exactly was covered and what was not. This is a huge stress relief as other locations in town can't seem to figure that out and I would constantly get bills! I highly recommend Rock River Optical for any family!
