Not impressed at all. After the Dr. made me feel like I was giving the wrong answers during my eye exam ("Which one is more clear? Are you sure???"), I was pushed into a pair of trail contacts that were the complete opposite of what I needed. I specifically told her I needed contacts for dry eyes. She insisted that my contacts were only dry because I didn't use name-brand solution... The ones she put me in were so dry, I had a hard time driving safely at times. When I called to complain within days, they gave me a trial pair for contacts that were made for dry eyes. I can only presume that the only reason I was pushed into the first pair was because they were more expensive than the ones I was currently wearing. The new trial pair were less expensive than my current lenses. In all my years with contacts, I've always been able to order new contacts after a trial period without a re-check. Nope, not here. She insists on seeing you again before you can place an order, and her hours and availability aren't that great. It got the point that I needed another pair of trial contacts... and they gave me the bad ones again. If you want an eye doctor that questions your vision responses, doesn't listen to your needs, and requires you to take off work to see in her rare availability, then this is the place to go! Clearly, I'll be going elsewhere for an exam and contacts in the future.

So disappointed with the Doctors lack of knowledge, she was rude, pushy and uneducated in regards to selection and basic product knowledge of contact lenses. The equipment is just as out dated as the woman optometrists and no one really is on the same page. The Doctor herself is not patient, makes you feel like you give the wrong answers and I felt rushed. After one visit With Dr. German at Lake Shore Eye Care in Mequon (and Saukville) I felt it my duty to post a negative review. Dr. German found my prescription was different (than Shopko's only four weeks earlier), he found a simple cause and solution to my irritation, that the Shopko's Dr. didn't really even want to talk about. DO NOT GO HERE FOR EYE CARE!

Worst eye center ever! Went here for years and she made me feel like every answer I gave was wrong. Didn't even care that my contact didn't work for me. I went to a new eye center this year and my prescription was completely different! THE DR. AT SHOPKO IS HORRIBLE AT HER JOB DON'T GO!

The folks that work there are unprofessional, careless, and lack attention to detail.
