Salem Vision Center

I've been to Salem Vision twice now. I was so impressed how wonderful they were! So considerate and polite! I even got my daughter and boyfriend to go there too! Great doctor and staff! I'd recommend him to everyone!

The doc was really cool. Straight to the point, knew what he was talking about. Thorough exam, really checked me out in depth for my condition with floaters, much appreciated.. The gal at the front desk was just great, really nice n helpful n returned my call.. reasonably priced What else can you ask for..

Got wrong prescription from this place...called them multiple times and was not helped....will not recommend

Outdated office and unprofessional. Smelled funny, no masks, and no hand sanitizer. Showed up at my scheduled 2 pm appointment, which I called to confirm the date and time a few days earlier. After a few minutes of being there, the staff claimed I was late and that my appointment was at 1:30. Would think that if I was late and they were vigilant, they would have called me to see where I was, but they didn't even claim I was late until minutes later. While waiting and listening to their conversation, it sounded like things were a mess and the front desk ladies were saying the doctor was crabby. The Dr. himself was not great. Seemed like he was forced to be there. When he was testing my sight, there was a miscommunication and he seemed frustrated and impatient about it saying "that makes no sense" to me about what I was saying, but sort of in a rude way. Thought about leaving as soon as I walked in the door... wish I did.

Hands down the best service my 14 year old daughter has ever received - and she's been wearing glasses since she was 2. She wanted to get contacts, and both the doctor and the administrative staff were so helpful and patient when teaching her how to put the contacts in and take them out. I will continue to take my family here.

I have been a patient of the good Doc for a few years and am so please with him and his wonderful office staff. If you do not have an eye doctor you'd like this office, they take care of everything you need. Thank you again for today they fixed my glasses for free and I even stepped on my own glasses and it was crooked and needed repair.

Dr. Kalinka is an excellent optometrist. I accidentally got some red pepper cream in my eye. He treated my eye condition immediately. Highly recommend this practice.
