I recently had a comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Demetra Danos at the Eye Centers of Racine & Kenosha and had a great experience. Dr. Danos is a very knowledgeable and caring optometrist who performed a thorough vision and eye health exam and explained everything clearly. She took the time to answer my questions and made the entire visit comfortable and informative. The staff was also friendly and efficient. If you are looking for a professional optometrist in the Racine or Kenosha area, I highly recommend Dr. Danos and the Eye Centers of Racine & Kenosha.

All the staff are extremely kind and professional. They went out of there way to preform an additional eye exam, that I did not have scheduled for this visit.
I had Lazer floater removal , and found good results. Not 100% removed but a noticeable difference.

I was diagnosed with narrow-angle glaucoma when I had a routine eye exam at a major chain. That Dr. recommended The Eye Center of Racine. When I called to make an appointment, the gal was so nice and understood my concern and was able to get me into the Eye Center the very next day.
Everyone there was so kind and reassuring. I saw Dr Sanka who will be performing the Lasar procedures in each eye soon.

I wanted to give a shout-out for an exceptional nurse/assistant at the Mount Pleasant location today whose name was Cheryl. We hit it off right from the start and have so many things in common. She made me feel at home for my first visit and she did an outstanding job today. It was a crazy busy day today (12/30) at this location and everyone was still so very nice. A very pleasant experience today.

I experienced repeated scheduling and check-in issues at this practice. At my initial evaluation appointment, I waited over an hour and was then told the doctor was not in the office. After being rescheduled, I again waited over an hour.
At the Kenosha office, I waited about an hour and a half and was later contacted by the receptionist and told I was a no-show while I was physically present in the waiting room. The receptionist had forgotten to check me in, which resulted in nearly two hours of waiting.
At my most recent visit, I again waited over an hour, including a prolonged wait in the exam room for the doctor.
After four weeks, the procedure did not work, and I was told that if it still does not work after three months, it would need to be repeated. Despite insurance, I paid $200 out of pocket with no results.
Overall, four out of five appointments involved waiting over an hour, and one appointment involved a two-hour wait. After this visit, I will not be returning.

Dr. Sanka and the nurses were absolutely incredible. They were accommodating and very communicative with every step. I was extremely nervous but they made my experience as comfortable as possible. I got the Smile eye surgery and the procedure was way faster than I thought and everything went perfectly. It's only been a day and I already feel like I'm almost fully recovered. It could not have gone any better!

I have an appointment today that I've been trying to cancel since 8:00 am. I have pericarditis and I'm in pain and can't make it today. Trying to reach them has been impossible. I left 3 messages throughout the day. No one answers the phone. Poor management! This place used to be great. The doctors are good, but their office staff needs training last time I was there they did everything but an eye exam. Told me to come back. I wasn't going to come back and pay twice because the techs forgot to do the exam for new glasses
