Bright Side Eye Care

This was my first visit to brightside and I was very impressed. There was a very thorough pre-exam with all the typical basic tests and then the doctor came in did the start of an exam and immediately noticed that one of my implanted lenses from a cataract surgery had clouded back up and before he proceeded with doing anything else, he said that, rather than do a full exam and then have to do it over again, we suggest that you go and get that lens cleaned up with a laser procedure that I'll refer you for and then you come back and we'll complete the exam. So he provided me a referral and saved me some money. I was very pleased and impressed as no one else had noticed that problem in the last year. So I offer very positive recommendation based on my experience on my first visit . The referral resented in a major improvement in my eyesight and the follow-up appointment completed everything quickly and easily and I'm really impressed. Definitely a positive evaluation of this eye clinic

Have been coming to this eye clinic (or the location in Oregon) since 2016. I've always appreciated the doctors and today was a fantastic experience with the front desk and clinical teams!!! The ladies were wonderful and personable and such a great start to my Friday!

Dr Melberg and his staff are always so friendly and warm. Very thorough throughout the exam and explaining things. Thinking I only needed glasses, they detected I had cataracts in both eyes. It was recommended I have the surgery and he referred me to an incredible place to have that done. That was 18 months ago and my vision has never been better. I come back for check-insat Bright Side because I 100% trust them.

Amazing! I came from SSM Health, who notoriously is uppity, overpriced, and terrible to everyone. Afraid, I asked my wife for help. She told me to check out her childhood Optometrist. I called nervously to schedule and was greatly warmly and respectfully. I was helped to ensure my other appointment was canceled and explained all information. Two weeks later, I came in, yesterday. Received warmly by everyone. Enjoyed great talks about Chicago and had a thorough exam. Dr. Lamay was chill. Told the wife he looked a tab bit like Bradley Cooper so she got a kick outta that. We discussed eye health which made me feel good that finally I was healthy in something having spent the last 5 years with new diagnosis ever 8 months or so. I felt at home and welcomed. Which isnt something I can often say at medical establishments. I will be coming back.

Very poor customer service. I went for my annual visit and was given a trial pair of contacts. When the prescription was written for my annual supply of contacts, it was a different prescription than what I had been given as a trial. When I called to ask for clarification, I was told that the optometrist would not be back for another week and was unreachable until then. When I asked to talk to another optometrist, they said there was not one available. When I told them that I was running low on contacts (that I need to work, drive, etc), they said I could pick up new trial contacts but that they were closing at 2pm (which is an impossible time for most working people to make). There was no option for them to send them to me via mail. I'll add that this was the third time that I called to inquire about the contacts with no call backs in the interim. I work in healthcare, and this is no way to treat customers.

This was my first visit to Bright Side Eye Care. I was new to the area and needed to find a new eye doctor. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience! The office staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Melberg was amazing. He took the time to listen to me and clearly explained all the test results to me. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through the appointment. I will definitely be recommending your office!

Absolutely amazing ! This was my first time visiting this eye clinic as it's right down the way from my house. The lady who checked me in up front was very nice and welcoming . Then Aria (spelling may be wrong) was the tech who did all the preliminary tests before the doctor and she was absolutely phenomenal ! Very personable and down to earth. The doctor came in and also was amazing he was very honest about his opinion on daily contacts / pricing and ordering . Entire staff has a great vibe and the clinic has a very welcoming atmosphere ! Very impressed

All staff members were courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. A very pleasurable experience
