I went to Eyemart express on Odana, and I'm really glad that you sent me an email asking how my experience was, because I wanted to write a review. I had two ladies help me immediately when I entered the store. The store was actually quite joyful. They were so good at multitasking with everyone in the store, even though it was busy. They let everyone know that they were important and that they would be getting to them as quickly as possible, while keeping them busy looking at glasses as they took care of other business. The multitasking was absolutely outstanding, but the kindness was even better. In addition to that, one of the ladies helping me seem to be managing the store as well, I think she was from Belleville, she was cruising with goodness. They both were. I will absolutely be back!

I had gone to my regular optometrist office to get new lenses for my reading glasses. They said $775, with insurance $350! I drove over to Eyemart Express. I got new frames (nice!) and the single vision reading lens for $25! So I sprang for the anti-scratch, anti-glare, for another $90. And I got a second pair as a backup for FREE! And they were ready in 13 minutes.
Although they appear to be understaffed and I had left the day before, they were very helpful, explained everything, and were pleasant throughout. Crisanne was super. I was totally pleased and love my new reading glasses, which also look good.

Being the holiday season, I had to wait weeks to book an optometrist appointment but it was well worth the wait , and still sooner and much less expensive than what I was quoted elsewhere.
Once I ordered my glasses they were both done in about a half hour.
If you like to be waited on right away, ask them what their slowest times are. For example, on the Monday early afternoon that I was there I was one of the only customers both before and after my optometrist appointment. I stepped out for a few minutes while the glasses were being made, and by 2:30pm it was suddenly really busy. Monday is reportedly one of their busiest days.

My brother, in hospice, needed glasses. The wonderful people at EYEMART EXPRESS did everything humanly possible to make it happen. They were absolutely successful under the most difficult circumstances you can imagine. And, THE GLASSES MY BROTHER LEFT WITH WERE EXACTLY WHAT HE NEEDED. I can't thank them or praise them enough. Even if you aren't in hospice, I suspect that the glasses you get from them will be perfect too.
