The entire staff at Isthmus is always rock solid. From the moment you step in the building you're always greeted with a warm welcome. The physicians and assistants are all patient, kind and show a willingness to answer all questions that may arise during the appointment. Lastly, they have top notch technology and internal systems, I appreciate that they are always up to date on the latest tools. Isthmus has been great for our entire family and I couldn't recommend them enough!

Dr. Maursetter is the best optometrist I've ever seen. She spent her time with, answered all my questions and is very kind, caring, and detail oriented. All the support staff were also excellent. My appointment was easy and efficient. They helped me pick out some beautiful new glasses and save as much money as possible since I don't have vision insurance. I also love that they have state of the art technology and instead of being dilated they image my eye each visit to do a detailed analysis to make sure everything is healthy. I love isthmus eye care and highly recommend them!

Love the personalized service and attention to detail from Dr. Koss! She always answers all my questions and is extremely thorough. I don't mind the two hour drive because the entire staff is so professional and welcoming. They have a fabulous selection of glasses and I always receive so many compliments. Dr. Callie Maursetter was great! She explained everything really well. My Son has very dry eyes and she was able to tell us the cause and gave us very good options for treatment. We will be Isthmus Eye Care patients for life.

I started coming here a couple of years ago and have had only excellent experiences. The optometry staff have all been chill, frank, respectful, and willing to indulge my curiosity to see the images they take of the insides of my eyeballs. Nobody has tried to upsell me on stuff I don't need (very different from my experiences elsewhere). The front room staff (I would shout the four people who've given me significant customer service over the years out by name, but I'm so bad at names, I'm sorry!) who help you with choosing/fitting frames, paying your bill, ordering, and basically every part of the experience that isn't in the clinic side are some of the best customer service staff I've had in this field--their depth of knowledge of the available options for glasses is great, they give useful help if you ask for it in determining whether certain frames 'suit' you--and it goes beyond just their personal preferences and into considerations of how thick the lenses will be, what your lifestyle is, and what your own vibe is like. They are patient and take their time to give you space to consider, never rushing you. I always have felt that they have tried to find me an ideal fit from beginning to end, and have done everything they can to make sure I'll get quality corrective lenses that will last me. Even the literal one time someone has made an entirely human mistake (I absolutely understand--I work in retail and have made exactly this sort of mistake myself, it totally happens!), I was so grateful and impressed that they came out to apologize to my face and made it right immediately, rather than trying to prevaricate or excuse or handwave the problem. It was such a respectful and very human connection thing to do, which is hard to find these days and I deeply appreciated it. As a non-binary person I have always felt my gender has been respected and my needs/vibes accommodated beautifully, and every interaction with a staff person has been a wonderful experience. Highly recommend these fine folks! Can't say enough good things about the Isthmus Eye Care on Gemini Dr. I'm sure the other offices are also awesome--I just don't have direct experience with any of them to offer :)

I have been going to Isthmus Eye Care for several years and I am always happy with the treatment I get there. Dr. Callie Maursetter is my primary doctor. She is friendly, thorough, and explains everything very well. Last year I had an infection in one of my eyes and ended up seeing many of the optometrists that work there, I thought they were all top-notch. I have also been fit for glasses by several of the opticians there, and I am very happy with their service, and the glasses they sell. I recommend them to everyone I know, therefore all of my family and many of my friends go there too.

Everyone was very nice in helping me understand my exam results! Also nice to get help on determining my coverage on new eye glasses through my insurance.

IEC does a great job. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Really appreciate their attention to detail and how efficiently they move through the process.
