Steve was so kind and helpful! I ran into an issue where I ran out of contacts and I had to visit a ton of clients the next day. He was calm, kind, and supportive. The next day I had to stop at home in the morning before my dreaded day out without optical...and sure enough...their were my fresh contacts waiting for me at the door! Dean Optical has always been super accommodating. I am so sad I am moving...Dean would be my choice every time.

Went here thinking my Dean would cover it. Nope. Worse? $600 out of pocket for an EYE EXAM. Total scam. These people must be scamming Medicare or something. No other way this clinic stays in business when most places charge $200

The employees at the glasses station are amazing!! Especially Sandy. My sons glasses are always getting broken or bent and they always help us with a quick adjustment on the spot. Dr Groessl is a wonderful surgeon as well.

600 dollars for a 15 min eye exam. Boy health insurance in america sure is great.

This review is specifically for the glasses store, not the ophthalmology clinic. I have only gotten someone nice here ONCE and I think she might be the manager, Jessica maybe? She's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1. The lady who is very tall with long red hair is incredibly rude. She "helped" me the last time I needed glasses and she was not pleasant then. Tonight, I had the misfortune to have to work with her again. Their hours are horrible for one, at least stay open until 6--I booked it across town to make it there to pick up glasses after work. I called ahead knowing I'd be there at about 5:25 but that I'd still like to pick up my glasses before going home. Whoever was on the phone (I'm betting it was the tall red-headed woman because she was rude, too) said "well okay we'll be here til 5:30." If you're open til 5:30, you're open til 5:30. I've worked in retail, I get it. It's a pain when someone comes in that close to closing time. However, I always smile, tell them it's fine, and help them. They drove out to my establishment and are about to patronize it, so you can bet I'll still be nice. I knew I would need all the bend taken out of the sides of my glasses because I get headaches. Before letting me finish that sentence, this woman cut me off and went to adjust them. When she came back, I said, "as I was saying I'd like the bend taken out of the sides." So she could have done one adjustment but instead had to walk back for two because she refused to pay attention to me. I paid a lot of money for these glasses (eyemart express is cheaper but I wear glasses every day, I wanted ones I absolutely loved) and I would expect service to match. The service I got at Eyemart blew Dean out of the water. At the end of my 2 minute session of adjustments, she rattled off how to care for my glasses while staring across the store. Never once did she look directly at me. I was out of there before 5:30--not like I made them stay late and I try to always be pleasant because I know working in a service industry can be difficult. I'd cut this lady a break if I thought she may have just been having a bad day, but every. single. time. I've worked with her she has been just plain rude. Unless you LOVE a pair of glasses here, I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Scheduled an appointment two months out because my glasses broke and they wanted to reschedule my appointment another 2 months out because their doctor got sick. I couldn't get new glasses because my prescription is too old and they want me to go blind for 4 months? Avoid this place they don't care about you

After my lasik that was done at Davis Duehr Dean, the cornea in my left eye was/is too thin. My vision is extremely compromised in that eye. My options were/are a cornea transplant or a hard contact. I regret ever going to Davis Duehr Dean for LASIK.

Eye exam was great as usual with Katie Sclotthauer then went to fill my Rx afterwards and had to wait since they were busy with other customers which is ok, however when one of the associates finally came to help me she was extremely rude and didn't want to really help it seems, the main associate and the associate to the right when I walked in were ok just the one at the desk to the far left was the rude one
