I want to start by saying that from start to finish, my experience with Jordan, the sales representative, was amazing. He was kind, attentive, patient, and very professional. I truly appreciate the time he took to help me throughout the entire process.
I did have an issue with another prescription, and unfortunately I don't remember the sales rep's name. She was a brunette with glasses, and the interaction was frustrating because she made it seem like the incorrect prescription was my fault, stating that I should have booked directly with the doctor. This was frustrating, as there is no option to book with a doctor online, and it's like I have a busy schedule why would I wanna keep coming back regardless. So she can work on her professionalism.
That being said, I wanted to also acknowledge the Latino gentleman , I forgot his name but he was very helpful in assisting me and getting me scheduled with the doctor to correct the prescription that was initially messed up by the virtual doctor. I also appreciate the doctor for taking the time to properly correct my prescription.
When I picked up my corrected prescription today with Jordan--the same rep who helped me from the beginning--I was so happy because everything was perfect. Overall, I would rate this place a 9/10. Aside from that one rude interaction, I had an amazing experience, largely thanks to Jordan. He is an outstanding sales representative. Giving 5 stars because Jordan made up for the bad experiences!
I made a same day appointment and when I arrived, the doctor had already left for the day. They tried using the excuse that he looked at it before I made the appointment and then never checked it again. That's an explanation, not an excuse. Then offered me basically half of an appt with a guy that looked 12 and a video call with a doctor at another clinic. I said "no, I think I'd rather just leave yall a bad review and go somewhere else. Thanks."

* Had to walk around the lobby for about 5 min in order for an employee to finally come out.
* Equipment needs updating. We had to redo each test multiple times, and the results were different each time -- Very unprofessional and risky practice, considering how much cost and sensitivity is required for eye glasses.
* The doctor is EXTREMELY disrespectful. Did not greet us, condescending told me to "sit", rushed us and told us we needed to go faster (knowing that a translator was necessary), and said there was "nothing [he] could do" and left the room with no indication of the appointment being complete.
I went here to get a prescription for contact lenses. I told the guy who was helping me what brand I use and he said there was a promo and I could get a year's supply for $150. He didn't tell me until check out that I would actually have to pay $300 and the rest was a mail in rebate. He told me it was a very easy process that could all be done online. For the last month I tried to get my rebate but the website was down for maintenance. I let them know when I picked up my contacts and they said they would look into it and get back to me. I never heard from them. I was finally able to get through to the rebate website, but it turns out (along with uploading photos of the contact boxes and of the receipt) I also have to mail in my receipt. And the rebate is only $100, not $150 like I was told! Very shady, will not go back to this place.
Stanton Optical at it's Finest! NOT!!!!!!! I would give a zero stars if I could. I've dealt with your East Wasington location employees 3 or 4 times now. Each time they prove to me that the customer means absolutely nothing to Stanton Optical. Take a look at the cracks in my lenses ( looks nice don't ya think? ). I received a $45 refund for my lenses. Now I have to go elsewhere and get new glasses because you guys are poor in customer service. I was told to pick plastic frames because it might happen again. I should be able to pick what frames I want. I called your customer support twice and they set me up with a incident report and all they did is forward my call to the East Washington location who did absolutely nothing. Told me I had to say I would never come back to Stanton again. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Your right about 1 thing I would never come back to Stanton and my review speaks for itself ( look at my glasses)
If never actually being seen by an eye doctor,having some high school kid check your eye and give you a prescription is your idea of a good thing, then this is the place for you.
I went here for an exam, walked out with the wrong prescription and never saw an eye doctor. Not sure how that's legal but that's how they do business at this establishment.
$110 eye exam.

Be advised this location has switched to "virtual" eye exams, wherein someone in another facility (and possibly country) talks to you through a screen and remote controls the testing apparatus. They told me to go "somewhere else" if I wanted my eyes dilated and checked thoroughly.
The techs manning the store were very polite. This is a corporate management decision to save them more money.
I have been getting eye exams and my glasses at Stanton for almost 20 years. I have checked at other stores for glasses but felt a pressured up sell. My most recent visit was handled with professionalism, courtesy and I felt comfortable. Carlos helped me go through many frames. I never felt rushed, AND he helped me stay in the price point I needed. I felt like i had a friend helping me pick glasses. I'm very happy with my purchase and will continue to go there for the next 20 years.
