Valerie M. Vanden Boom, OD

I've been going to Doctor Vanden Boom for several years. she's always been pleasant and very thorough with both the exam and her explanations. She takes great care to ensure that I understand specific risk factors for my vision health, and the symptoms that might indicate that a problem is urgent. The staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient. I actually look forward to my annual visits to Eye Contact because I go away feeling well cared for and well informed. I'm very pleased to have Dr. Vanden Boom as my eye doctor.

went a year ago for my contact and glass px--first time i had gone to her----first she gave the px for the contacts with the wrong eyes/wrong px listed---because i know what i wear in each eye, i had to get it changed----i ordered them through their office---then when i was low on contacts because i had a number of them that ripped, i went to buy more online and they declined to give approval---said i had a year's worth already---i had always been told by other eye Drs that you should error on the side of wearing them no more than two weeks, because of potential eye infections---i would have had to go in again to see her----I am sure that was the idea---another office call--she did "allow" me to order one more box of 6----i have never had that happen before and would never go to her again===
